My network connection started to misbehave. I lost two consecutive games afterwards. The first game was already in a winning position, and I was confident about the second one, although I didn't see the game because my network connection went off. By the time I got my network back online, the game counted as a loss for me.
My Wi-Fi went down since we had no electricity, and the backup battery was already exhausted. So, I had to rush off to get the Wi-Fi and charge it with our inverter. Luckily for me, the inverter solar charged briefly during the day, allowing me to recharge my Wi-Fi battery.
After connecting, I felt a surge of energy in me to win all my games, which I transferred into the games, winning all of them till the end. I was able to play with @justfavour twice, and I was fortunate to win both games although he was higher rated.
I also defeated @stayoutoftherz at the end of the competition, but it wasn't credited as a win because the game was completed after the tournament had ended. My two highest-rated victories from today's event.
I finished in fourth place. Although I hoped to finish third, the current third place was far ahead of me with so many points already, and there was not enough time to catch up.
Prior to the tournament, I spent some time practicing some puzzles, which I believe helped me perform better today. I will make sure to spend more time practicing my puzzles prior to the tournaments because doing so today was helpful. I made 1860 TPR points, which was impressive given that my current rating is 1819.
I began with a rating point of exactly 1700?, with a question mark because it had been a long time since I had played bullet matches. And I finished with a new rating point of 1819 because of my good tournament performance today. I played 12 games and won 75% of them.
As a music lover, I played some Jon Bellion, my favorite musician of all time while playing in the tournament. It was fun.
Congratulations to Pavarotty @lucianosky, Tortyllan @dhilan04, and Rosmarly @rosmarly on finishing in the top three.
