I don't know why cakes is a must on birthdays, who made the trend?

Do you always celebrate birthdays with a cake?

Hello Hivers! Today I will share with you some funny events on my uncle's birthday yesterday. He doesn't celebrate it that much because just like us, we have another things to prioritize but his wife related to us that their daughter just wont believe it was his birthday because there was no cake at all. Perhaps ahe got used to having her birthday with lots of foods and cakes to celebrate it with

So after church, they bought a cake on their way home just to prove that it was her father's birthday, and decided to share it with us; afterall it's not fun alone, is it?

So this is how many of us are, mostly are kids, Pj, @eylii, Nathan, Yanyan, Aya, Laling, Nathalie and Czaky. And the adults were me, my mum, my sister, my uncle, his wife, and my husband.

Now I and my daughter, Laling agreed to buy an ice cream because she had been so good that day; my mum left her when they went to the farm to continue planting cassava because she was still asleep, too tired from the activities we did the previous day. We actually thought of buying ice cream before lunch but she thought of her sister and told me we just have to do it in the afternoon when her siblings is complete. I was deeply touched by her act, honestly and I hope ahe will go this way wven if she grows up and experience many difficulties in life

It ws already 4 in the afternoon when my uncle went to mum's house bringing with them the cake, and I was about to to to the shop to buy ice cream whne the happy commotion happened, and I told my husband who was changing the engine oil on his motorcycle and we decided to buy a bigger ice cream instead of buying cones. I told my sister about the plan and she added more money for the frozen delicacy, this made her very happy because her daughter loves ice cream and does not enjoy eating cakes.

On to the shop, I bought my three kids with me and then as we got busy on what ice cream flavor to buy, we bumped with my godmother and she gave us money for the ice cream to say happy birthday to my uncle instead! Yohoo!

The kids decided to choose the strawberry flavored ice cream and went to the cashier to pay. We also bought two 1.5 liters of soda then I was thinking how much sugar we are taking that moment. Good thing there were many of us and jut has small portions each.

When we arrived home, the shope was just a walking distance and only took us about 10 minutes to buy, I was assigned to give each one ice cream, my uncle's wife divided the cake and enjoyed our sweet snacks. The kids were so happy and I just love hearing them laugh!

It was just a simple birthday celebration and everyone enjoyed so much, but then I fleed when they all got emotional talking about the past, feeling sorry for themselves when my granny was still alive. Off the the kitchen I went to avoid the stress and cleaned up all the utensils we used.

I was a bit regretful when I was not able to take pictures of everyone but all that I took would be able to remind me of that enjoyable day. The best moments aren't caught at the camera after all.

Life is a roller coaster of happiness, excitement and disappointments but despite all that, always have the source of happiness from the people and things that you love!

This will be all for today, thanks you for your never ending support always!
