My journey in Rising Star Game started recently and my goal is to complete missions while learning more about the game. Today I will talk about the Ego statistic in the game and also how to get more energy through Boosts. Let's start with Boosts and then I will talk about Ego.
What are Boosts?
Boosts are cards that you can acquire from other players in the Rising Star Game market or in the alternative market Nftm.art. They will serve to make your life easier in the game. There are several types of Boosts, but in this post I will talk about 2 in particular that are the ones I have learned how they work so far, they are the Energy Boost and the Pizza Box:
If you have already played Rising Star Game then you must have noticed that after completing missions there is a chance that you will drop an item, pizza is one of these items and when it is consumed you will restore your energy completely. The Energy Boost works like the pizza, but you will be in control of when to use it. Just go to the + that appears next to your energy and select Energy Boost to use it and restore your energy completely. After you use it, it will go on a 24-hour cooldown and after that time is over, you will be able to use it again.
This is a great card to have, especially if you are going to do several missions per day, so you will need a lot of energy and it can be annoying to wait for the energy bar to charge by itself. In addition, you can have several of them, so you can restore as much energy as you want during the day.
The cheapest price for it is 60,000 STARBITS, which is the equivalent of 0.316 $Hive. This is a very affordable price and, in my opinion, very cheap for a card as useful as this one. Since I intend to do a good amount of missions per day, I bought 3 of them to help me on my journey.
The Pizza Box will be used to store the pizza that you can earn after completing a mission. Why is it useful? It will be useful because the pizza that you can earn after completing a mission is consumed immediately so your energy bar will be at 100% after that but it can be inconvenient to consume it like that because you can have a lot of energy at the moment and restore little. For example, if you have 80% energy and you earn a pizza then it will only restore 20% of energy and that is not much, it would be much more advantageous to use the pizza when your energy is close to 0%, so the Pizza Box will store it for you to use whenever you want.
Each Pizza Box will store only 1 pizza.
The cheapest price of the Pizza Box is 0.139 $Hive, again a very affordable and cheap price in my opinion. I bought 2 Pizza Box but I intend to buy more in the future and I will also buy more Energy Boost.
These are all the Boosts that I currently have. There are others like Coffee Cup, Risky Whiskey, Fan Boost, Skill Boost, Birthday Cake and XP Boost, but I don't know much about them yet so I'll leave them for later.
Let's talk about Ego, which is one of the stats in Rising Star Game and it's certainly one that you don't want to have in the game because it will decrease your earnings in missions. The description in the image above already explains how Ego works so I'll just say that your mission will be to leave it at 0% to maximize your earnings and you can do this by taking music lessons.
To start taking music lessons you need to be at least level 10 and each lesson will cost 40 energy and take 60 minutes to complete. After finishing the lesson you will gain Skill which is the statistic needed to decrease your Ego.
Unfortunately I'm still at level 3 so I can't take music lessons and my Ego is at 29% which is pretty bad for my earnings but it should take a long time for me to reach level 10 so I'm not too worried about it right now. Another way would be to buy cards that have more Skills than Fans but for that I would have to buy them from other players and I think buying packs is more advantageous and fun so I'll wait for the music lessons.
Another important detail is that there are different music lessons, each one with a different instrument and the amount of Skill you will gain will depend on the amount of luck you have with that instrument, so a good strategy would be to focus on just 1 instrument and sell the others to buy more cards.
