Yesterday at work there was some decent success!
In the picture here you can see myself on the left, the Vessel Deleagte - 3rd Engineer Dwayne, Clint from IQS and the Quality Controller and George... ok... you can just see the top of his hard hat...
There he is! George, the MCM Technician doing the Chiller service.
We were all there to sign off that the Chiller circuits have passed a holding vacuum test and as you can see in the picture above that the Guage shows a nice 2.98mbar. Our target was to remain under 5mbar.
Thus, everyone is happy to proceed to the next stage!
Here is some more in action pictures if anyone ever wonders why our overalls get so dirty. On the floor, crawling in to the underside of the chiller to reach a valve. This is just something that needs to be done!
Now with this Chiller signed off on the pressure and vacuum stages, we have charged both circuits of the chiller with a holding Charge of Refrigerant.
We are getting somewhere...
Till tomorrow...
Cheers!
