Hey everyone.
I have been quite busy again with the current ship that I have been busy with. Then we were sent off site... then the vessel moved to drydock.
Without much preamble or notice we were requested to return to do this or that. We needed to come start half a system. We need to unlock a system. We need to come do corrections on a system.
All the while I was mostly on my own or mostly having a fly-by technician to come and help me.
It is ridiculous. We should have a team on site and be able to do everything we must as a company.
Right now things are falling to the wayside.
The Debmar in Dry Dock. See if you can spot people or things that give you an idea of how big this is. That yellow bridge is what I have to cross many times a day.
On the other side of the Sturrock Dry dock is this barge. So they called it, but as far as I know, this is a semi-sumbersible floating dry dock.
It sinks down, the ship drives into the middle and then it lists up and they can wok on the vessel.
I do not know why there are only cranes on one side, seems a bit strange.
It cannot be a transportation vehicle as it has no prow to navigate high seas and breakers. Therefore this seems to be a predominantly stationary vehicle.
I have another long day ahead of me...
I am trying not to let me stress and anger get in the way of me working but there are two particular people on this site that are being rather difficult.
Thanks for reading this post. I hope that your work day is going to be better than mine.
Have a good and safe day!
Cheers!
