Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here with a Gardening update!
A little while ago I posted about starting against from scratch in a garden where everything was dead. A little bit of TLC later, and there are some improvements.
Its quite hot during the middle of the day so @merenludick and I go out to the garden either very early, late afternoon or both.
Above you can see that a large patch in the veggie garden has been cleared and de-weeded. The raised garden bit has been enriched with compost from my compost piles.
I have then prepared those seed trays for the germination of seedlings! Also compost and sand from my garden!
This patch of sand keeps getting raked to remove leaves and watered. You might notice a bit more green and notice some creeping sections of grass. Hopefully this shall continue!
The big branches that were in this section have almost all been chopped up and added to the compost piles.
Compost Pile A is quite full of material!
And this tree on the way to the compost pile has been stripped of leaves and branches and no longer looks like a big bush!
That's it for now! It is time for me to get into a habit of working and blogging about this on a weekly basis!
