The Busy Bees
So last week I was in hospital doing the Busy Bees Post.. Monday I was discharged and Tuesday and Wednesday I was at home.
Wednesday we did a dressing change to prepare me for going to the hospital. We saw then that a lot of pus and swelling and redness was still evident despite my week-long stay in the hospital under IV antibiotics.
So I sent photos to the Doctor at the Hospital. He told me to stay away from work Thursday and come see him on Friday. He also told me not to eat after 7am.
I did that. Friday he saw me and by 3pm I was in the operating theatre for a surgical debridement of the wound. The bad stuff got cut out. I spent Friday night in hospital and Saturday I cam home again.
Its Sunday now and I have been mostly sleeping or laying prone with my leg way up, which makes me feel almost upside down... and trying to do this post...
Anyway... the data side is done, now I just need to put it all into this post!
