Well here I am. I have ended up in hospital due to my leg infection.
They have given me antibiotics on drip and they are keeping me overnight. Tomorrow the specialist will come see me and they will consider what to do next.
They took a bunch of blood samples and a sample right out of the wound.
We shall see what tomorrow brings.

We went to the GP at 2pmish, drove the ER unit at 3m. I was diagnosed for triage and told to wait. About an hour or hour and a half later I was in ER and the assessments began. Blood samples. Puss samples. all the usual other tests.
I then waited a good long while for a bed upstairs. Around 8-9pm I was in the Medical Ward.
Today they moved me to the General Ward at around 1-2pm.
My uncle was in last year with a similar infection but it looks like you got it treated early.
Is there any chance you are taking anything similar to ozempic?

As they say in Minnesota, uffda! Hope it gets sorted soon and you'll be on the mend again.
Get well soon ! Hopefully they'll let you out of hospital once it's under control, and hopefully until then you'll get a decent mobile signal and be able to stave off the boredom by writing posts 😁

I have a nasty leg infection and I have been on drip anti-biotics for 3 days.
Looks like I will be staying here a while longer still, just to be certain.
First few days the laptop was a relief for some entertainment. But I am feeling better. I am going to look at catching up now!
Did this start at work? If so I hope you filled out an IOD, so many places to pick up infections nothing actually clean!
