We had an amazing and awesome game of Warhammer planned for today. Myself and @owen-turner were going to defend this City Fortress against the forces of Chaos.
The Imperials would me limited to around 12,000pts of units and the Chaos players had around 9,000pts to bring but could respawn units out of a warp rift.
There would also be sites of holiness that they could desecrate to create new smaller portals to bring some of their units through.
Unfortunately the Gods of Chaos are fickle and do not always favour their servants and first one and then the other Chaos player had to drop out.
We tried to mitigate things for when the one player dropped out... and then the other one dropped and we got stuck.
I put out a general call to violence on the Wargaming group of around 250pts worth of enemies... but so far nothing.
I know Owen really wanted to hold a Fortification... because his one army is Imperial Fists... so Give that man a Fortified Position!
This means that I shall be the one that will come thundering towards the City.
The third guy, Charles with his Votann will be used as Mercenaries to assist in holding the city.
So... I have a lot of packing to do now!
