Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - The Great Unit Review Wheel! post!
Now known as the Unit Review Library!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit!
Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!
454 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #139, I am 315 reviews behind!
Not picking randomly at the moment, I am focusing on Blood Angels to get them done before their new Codex comes out!

What is better than a bunch of raving lunatics with specialized close combat weapons?

This unit can re-roll the Charge roll.
Thoughts
Right... the main thing to analyse here is how they compare to Death Company on foot... and actually these are not as good, at a higher points cost.
They are faster and re-roll that charge which is great. But they lose the additional Sustained Hits rule (An Honourable Death in Combat). So they are faster at the cost of some damage output.
Of course, it costs points to stick the Death Company on foot into Transports to deliver them, so for the rapid melee threat, its not a bad balance. You could always run both for different sort of targets...
Neither are Battleline so a Detachment can have up to 3 units of EACH... that is a lot of looney antics!
That makes 13 Blood Angels Reviewed putting them on 68.42% Completed! The total Completed is 14.31% Complete! Can I review them all?!
Thank you for reading!
