This post is part of the current Fund Raiser where a friend has given me an offer to buy a collection of Warhammer models, the money will go to putting down deposits for his wedding arrangements.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:

- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends

Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!

Aeldari, Swooping Hawks
10th Edition Index
Swooping Hawks are an Aspect Temple of warriors who use Jump Packs and primarily Ranged Weaponry.
They are a kind of harassment unit that can hit and run. They have a really old set of models and I can 100% guarantee that GW will be re-releasing new Hawks with the new Aeldari Codex. It's about time.
They are 85pts for 5 models and 170pts for 10 models.
Annoyingly, their $52 box contains 6 models.... why I am not sure.

Stats
Movement 14"
Toughness 3
Save 4+/5++ (armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 1 (Exarch has 2)
Ld 6+
OC 1
Weapons
The whole squad are are armed with Lasblasters and Close combat Weapons.
The Exarch can exchange the Lasblaster for a Hawk's Talon, an automatic really and the Exarch can have an Aeldari power sword
Ranged Weapons
Lasblaster
24" Range, 4 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Assault (Can be shot even if this unit has Advanced)
Lethal Hits (To Hit rolls of 6 automatically Wound the target)
Hawk's Talon
24" Range, 4 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Assault (Can be shot even if this unit has Advanced)
Lethal Hits (To Hit rolls of 6 automatically Wound the target)
Melee Weapons
Close Combat Weapon
2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S3, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Aeldari power sword
3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP-2 and 1 Damage each.
Abilities
Deep Strike - They can come down anywhere on the board from Reserves as long as they are more than 9" away from enemy units.
Skyleap.
At the end of your opponent's turn, you can pick them up and put them into Reserves as long as they are not stuck in melee combats. Then in your turn, they can fall down onto another location on the board.
Thoughts
Of course they are ridiculously fast. They are NOT meant for Melee. They are good for movement and shooting. Their gun already has a 24" range and a 14" movement means a 38" threat range. Then add in that their weapons are Assault, you can Advance and shoot as well.
This means 39-44" of threat.
If your opponent moves in a way you don't like and they don't get caught by a charge then they leave the board and come down again in your next turn, capable of shooting again.
Aeldari Players playing with units of 5 would probably use them for opportunistic/desparate damage dealers only and they job would likely be to score on objectives/secondary objectives since they can get around so fast.
That makes 28 Aeldari Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 38.88% Completed. The total Completed is 18.35% Complete! Can I review them all?!
