Today we are gleaming some friends of the family’s orchard. They already got the best for selling in the market, but that’s fine. A lot of the “orange” beautiful ones are not the best. In fact, the ones that look less appealing usually taste better.
Here are some that have been damaged by the wind and rain, but are probably sweet. We shall see later.
Here’s my son holding a bucket that we were using to place them in. Don’t underestimate the bucket. It gets heavy. That’s why we also had a push cart and to crates to put orange in. Below are the mandarins that we took home.
To show our appreciation, we took the owners out for lunch at a local restaurant.
By the way, orange and mandarins are different fruit. It’s interesting.
