We were generously supplied with fresh carrots, more than we could use right away. We left them outside in the cool garage. However that cool garage became a freezer!
We opened all the bags of carrots so we could peel them and find a way to preserve them before they get soft and unusuable.
Having this many carrots is a great blessing and we will eventually go through all of them, that is whatever we can save.
All the rest will go into the compost, so it won't be a total waste. But we'd much rather EAT them!
