Fossils & Meteorites Part 2

in #amazingnature3 years ago

The T-Rex discovery center was built specifically for the T-Rex skeleton named 'Scotty' which was found close to where the building is today. Its in the Frenchman River Valley in Sask. It took more than 20 years to dig out Scotty's skeleton. This skeleton claims to be the largest T'Rex skeleton in the world!!!! The center has the original paleo lab where they worked on removing the skeleton. We were able to walk around the lab and see just how they did that. We could even sift through sand and rock ourselves to see if we could find anything. The museum offers guided tours and a small cinema for showing a documentary. They also have school and summer programs. I highly recommend this museum for all.
