I don't understand much about paintings, although I like to appreciate them, but I understand a little bit about art and I have a phrase that I usually say to my dance students is that in dance, mistakes are not only common but important because from them comes improvisation and improvisation in dance is what transforms it into a true artistic expression.
I like to think that the unexpected is commonplace in great artistic masterpieces.
The result wasn't what you expected and maybe it wasn't technically good, but I bet it gave you good reflections on your art and many will enjoy traveling through your work, even though it's far from what you'd like it to be :)
Thanks for sharing.
