Girona FC vs Leganés - 🏐🏐🏐

Hi community!

Girona 'knocks down' Leganés in a great exchange of blows.

The Catalans take the three points by the minimum in a vibrant duel with seven goals.

Montilivi enjoyed a great match. One of those that create fans even if the coaches don't like it that much. Back and forth, goals and more goals. Girona came out victorious after a great exchange of blows with Leganés... and that was even though the initial whistle blew at siesta time.

Girona went into steamroller mode and Leganés responded to every right-footed shot the Catalans delivered. One of the standouts was Miguel, who also made it 1-0 in the 21st minute with a shot off the bounce that went in between Dmitrovic's legs.

The pepineros, far from falling apart after the opening goal, demonstrated their quality just three minutes later, when, in the 24th minute, Tapia scored his first goal since he has been in Spain with a great shot to thank Brasanac for his assist.

The duel was going back and forth, with chances, danger... and the normal thing was to celebrate more goals. Miguel, who was having a great game, put the 2-1 on Arnau's head. Another 'punch' on the jaw of Leganés, who did not fall on the canvas and four minutes before the break they pulled out a great goal with the boots of Juan Cruz, who sent another assist from Brasanac into the net to equalize the match again. 2-2.

The game did not diminish the intensity of the game, although Girona came out more bossy on the pitch. They were looking for a goal more and got it from the 11-metre mark. Nástasic 'messed up' against Miovski and Busquets Ferrer was very accurate. Stuani prepared himself on the touchline, laced up his boots, came onto the pitch and the first ball he touched was 3-2 for Míchel's men. They arrived and kissed the saint.

Girona did not stop insisting and the 4-2 came, scored by Sergio González with an own goal after accidentally finishing off a great cross from Blind.
But if anyone thought the match was over... they were wrong. Munir, like Stuani, came in from the bench and the first ball he touched he sent into the top corner to make it 4-3 in the 77th minute and continue to believe in achieving the equaliser.

Girona took three valuable points against a team from 'their' League in a high-flying duel that could have also gone Leganés' way.

See You soon! 🏐
