On the 27th of March, 2021, under the guidance of @vortac I joined the community of Ecency. I knew literally nothing at the time about Ecency or Hive in general, and I will admit that I was really sceptical about its prospects and about the time that I will spend here.
Fast forward to today, the 27th of March 2022, and for sure I can say that after joining Ecency, I have never looked back.
My HIVE POWER saldo is currently standing at 1,7k - which is I think not that great but also not that terrible - and I already am setting myself a goal of atleast doubling that amount in the next 12 months:)
But, today's post will not be about me. Enough about me and enough about my 12 months. I wanted to dedicate today's post of my first Ecency birthday to some of the people that made and are still making my stay here at Ecency truly special. In no particular order, I want to thank:
- @vortac for being the one who 'pushed' me into realizing what a wonderful opportunity Ecency is and what a delightful community it is;
- @instagram-models for trusting me with the MOD title of the lovely Models community;
- @dalz for introducing me to the concept of HIVE PUNKS, gifting me my first HIVE PUNK that I am currently showing on my profile pic and also just genuinely helping me out with a lot of thankful tips about this lovely piece of crypto heaven;
- @magnacarta for always spiking up interesting discussions and debates that tingle my mind;
- @fw206 for being one of the very first people that started upvoting my content;
- @tarazkp for being one of the most original Ecency authors out there, whose content I relish reading with tremendous delight;
- @synrg for his witty remarks and splendid memes;
- @intrepidphotos and @photocircle for some of the most beautiful pictures that I have seen on Ecency;
- @jschindler for having my back at multiple occasions with his upvotes when I was devoid of any inspiration of posting anything meaningful;
- @ervin-lemark zato sto si jedan od najboljih 'nasih' ljudi tu na Ecency;
- @apshamilton for being a very inspirational voice of reason in each and every of his comments;
- @flemingfarm for showing genuine interest into my opinion about many topics, lastly about the Ukraine - Russia conflict,
and many, many more wonderful, tremendous people that have made my stay here almost too good to be true.
Today's post is dedicated to all of you guys and to many more which I cannot remember at the moment and will probably be quite sad once I realise that I have not mentioned you - but don't take it too personally, as alas, you should know how deeply proud I am to have met or interacted with any person on this platform.
This is for all of you guys - thank you for making my first year here a wonderful one and I just hope that together, we will contribute to the growing part of Ecency that it is currently doing ever so good.
