INTRODUCTORY POST
Hello, hive.

I must confess that I did find it a bit hard to get to make a wholesome introduction of myself on this honeycomb of a platform. I had gone through a lot of introductory posts and I couldn’t find an introduction I would take as a blueprint to create mine. My advent into the hive was like that of a bee without a hive, like a bee without a colony.

Without further adieu, I feel privileged to announce my humble self on this platform. This may not be the best introductory post you’ve ever come across but this is your friendly neighbour trying to say his name out loud for the first time. My name is Nwachukwu Chukwubuikem Israel; I am 20 years and eight months old. I am from Anambra state in Nigeria. And I am proudly African. I am born to a family of five. I have two siblings IfeanyiNwachukwu and Chukwunouerem Nwachukwu.

I am currently a Secondary school graduate, what my friends in the west might call high school. I graduated high school in 2017. I have been in and out of college and am currently looking to get in again.
I consider myself a crypto enthusiast. I lay no claim as to being an investor or an expert in this field. But, a patriot of the decentralization and revolution of finance and an ardent believer of innovation through blockchain, even in a third world country like my own. It was in this mindset and resolve, fate brought me to Hive.
I discovered hive in the early days of October this year and only a few things in my short life have spiked my interest so much as Hive. As I stated earlier I am a fan of decentralization and innovation through blockchain. So I found the concept of Hive quite obsessive. I couldn’t help telling every friend I met about it for over a week since I found this honeycomb. Even though I knew little about the concept of web 3.0. I was surprised to learn that it wasn’t the first of its kind as it was a fork of Steamit-and became better than its predecessor.

I first heard about cryptocurrencies in the 2nd quarter of the year 2018. My roommate, Vincent, was a crypto trader and an active entrepreneur. He was also a student of chemical engineering. Around that time eth was at 83 dollars he persuaded me to get a piece of any of the two top cryptocurrencies, BTC or eth, and for reasons I can’t place a finger on now, I refused to buy eth then or BTC as he offered I but a piece of both. It was not until 2019 during the wave of million money and forsage I beheld the price of Ethereum and BTC I was in awe. Throughout the years 2019 and 2020, I went savage buying carelessly with little knowledge of the entire space. I paid little or no attention to understanding cryptocurrencies and blockchain. And I paid dearly with my fair share of bagging rug pulled coins, coins that pumped when I sold them and dipped when I bought them, pumped after I sold them again and began plummeting after I bought them again.

This year was more like stranger things for me. I started reading more about crypto and crypto trading, had good shares of airdrops, profits then I hopped into trading like a bird trying to fly for the first time only that I had no wings and my losses were the only thing that was bullish, constantly in an upward trend. Unlike my early years in crypto, I barely had cash to spare this year and most of them died without multiplying. At the end of the third quarter of this year, I made a retreatment from gambling on crypto and vowed to take no trades until I learn to trade professionally.

When the question, what do want to bring to the table is asked. I look back at my reckless experience in crypto as one who has made mistakes I wouldn’t want others to make. And someone who wants to create a better experience for myself and others. I would be using this opportunity to share my past, present and future experience to make the experience of people better. I look forward to learning, growing, teaching, and repeating with the purpose of not just bettering myself but sharing my every experience as a helping hand to as many as would care to take it in walking down the aisles of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

I choose to liken Hive to a Beehive where this blockchain is our queen, our validators are kings and we have our workers and our soldier...

The above was supposed introductory post the one I never posted. I was scared it wasn’t worth it. I wrote the above epistle over Four months ago and that will be last year. A lot has happened since then so I would love to say a few more things.
I got back into college for a start; I am currently an Applied Microbiology student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria. I tried trading and got burnt again. Yes, I didn’t keep my word. Maybe if I had posted here earlier I would have been more accountable. My family happened...
I can’t say it all in an introductory post if you will click the follow block just above your screen I will be glad to know that I’ve found a family in Hive. Maybe will become our own sub colony in this Hive. And I pledge to the hive to be a reproductive and hardworking bee.
