      To some extent it probably does, but the more witnesses you choose, the less your vote means.

      You have 1 million HP (let's assume that would be the case on Hive). By choosing 1 witness you give him 1 million HP vote, but two - only 0.5m. So in assumptions you should focus on a couple of witnesses who are really good.

      It is certainly interesting. I remember on Steem at the time I think there were problems to increase the list of witnesses displayed from 50 to 100.

      Overall a positive change

      I used to want to be a Steem witness, but it used to be impossible. On Blurt with hard work and hard forks it was possible :P
