Xiaomi SU7 advertising photos leaked.

Xiaomi is preparing for the launch of its car, developed together with BAIC, in whose factories the car will also be produced. According to rumors, the car was supposed to debut at a promotional event on December 28 this year, but Xiaomi denies these rumors, stressing, however, that they initially had such a plan. Ultimately, the date of the official premiere is not yet known, but it is certain that it will take place soon, as a photo session for the press campaign accompanying the event has already taken place. Reportedly, the Chinese press publishing house "faces a fine of 3 million yuan ($420,000) for violating a non-disclosure agreement." We, on the other hand, can enjoy clear photos of the Xiaomi SU7 today. The sleek, luxurious sedan will be powered by one or two electric motors with a total output of 220 kW/495 kW (220 kW + 275 kW) respectively. The car has a 73.6 kWh battery, a CLTC range of up to 668 km (depending on the drive version) or 101 kWh, a range of up to 800 km CLTC. Xiaomi wants to compete with this model with Porsche Taycan and Tesla S. Knowing the perfection of the company in the production of mobile phones, we have grounds to expect similar quality also in their cars.

All these luxury EVs are very similar to each other.

Because of the aerodynamics

It will be interesting to see how it fares in safety tests, because the MG5 has not received a single star in NCAP recently.

Yes, the MG5 scored poorly, but most of the new Chinese cars do very well.

Huawei, Xiaomi... This is where things get interesting. And where is the Apple car that has been announced for years?

Waiting for Google and Microsoft cars 😁

A long time ago, Samsung produced cars, but this division was taken over by Renault.

Yes, but Renault withdrew the Samsung brand from the automotive market.

This car is gorgeous. I didn't know about this move by Xiaomi

Not only Xiaomi, Huawei as well.

thanks for the clarification

With such a range, you can function without any problems.

That's true, but for most customers, a range of 500 km is already sufficient.
