My roasting opinion:
Yes. Perhaps I should not watch movies while I work. Especially on a Monday recovering from a heavy hangover, but here I am trying to make sense and justify what I just seen happening (or not happening) on my second screen.
This might contain spoilers although would it actually matter?
I'm not so sure and in case maybe it will save you from actually wasting almost two hours of your life!
I think there's different ways this could have gone , like perhaps if the movie concentrated only on a single story without the unnecessary, improbable and poorly executed twists. Maybe if it was a drama on the despair and guilty of having committing a major mistake that can and will change your life and having to deal with the aftermath of your decisions.
But well...wait, that would have required good script writing and acting both of which it's nearly non existent here. Let alone the witty dialogues!
Maybe, again, it could have been a short movie so that the loose efforts would have been concentrated.
And that is just about the first half hour.
Admittedly the second half with the story developing into a psychotic thriller does brings in some more enjoyable moments but the little there is in the story is unfortunately drowned by the overall bad acting and silly dialogues.
They tried to create the kind of creepy, pulp situation you might have enjoyed (or regret watching as in some uneasy gruesome set ups) in other movies but it just doesn't materialised here and would be unnecessary anyways.
Perhaps I might be mistaken and a little credit should be given cause the concept is not that bad but the execution unfortunately is and the music and photography do not help or enhance or even mildly help to sooth the mistakes and bad acting throughout the all ordeal.
It must be stated though that the main actress Alex Essoe is very good and the only solid performance wasted among the rest of the cast in my opinion.
I won't spoil the chaotic finale and please watch it and prove me wrong. I'd much like that!
In fact it is probably just me going through a Monday hangover that I could not positively enjoy this little gem...
