How about a Burn Club?

There has been a call for burning of cards for a while.

It appear what people are asking for is a blend. To blend cards together and have them keep the same stats.

This serves to give a new unique card for free. Well the first time you bled it will be a new unique card to your deck. Other blends have always had a cost and paid to the game.

A suggestion from Jux. Is to build a pot. From this pot those who partake in the burn will get a share of the pot.

The pot value would need to grow over time. The idea is to give STARPRO to those who Burn cards. Cards that are burnt would get sent to the graveyard.

To make this work and be able to provide more value than the sum of parts. I will try a test project along side as support for the burn. It will give additional support to the Game. To the players this will also take time to grow to an amount worth discussion.

I might have to find 6K or so HP to make this one work. Not the Burn. The add on.

I wonder would any who seek the burn would delegate a bit to get things moving. A player incentive built on player delegation. That is something that might sound cool in the future.

The game support already does the purchase of cards. The listing price of common cards is way to high in comparison with the rare cards for value.

If people do not want to continue with the burn Idea, Maybe start listing those cards at cheaper prices and trade them. Then use what you bring in to get the better cards with higher stats.

This is the value of the cheapest Luck card on the market

This is the cheapest card. Also a luck card.

Almost 20 times the cost for Luck by buying a common card.

This is the reason game support stopped buying the cheapest card. The comparative value is over inflated. Those buying the cheapest commons are slowing down their own growth. In some ways game support is already providing a burn capability, maybe it is just the asking price is too high to compete on the common cards. The next best is the rare.

If it is wanted. A burn service for the game can be implemented. Players can get some compensation for the cards they burn. Gaining back the stats is not burning anything.

If this is something players want. Leave a comment and I will begin working on things.

How the club works.

Some measures are employed to ensure the club is fair to all members. We do not end with a wealthy player taking all of the cards at a reduced cost.

Starting at 10%. Working on method to increase this to 25% or 30%.

Players can only reserve cards they do not have.

Guaranteed.

700K of STARBITS each week for the purchase of packs.

Cards.

Rare and Common cards are referred to as fodder cards. These are available to members at a reduced cost.
Members can reserve Luck cards to improve their skill rewards from lessons. Reservations of 1K in Luck is a maximum to ensure all members can gain additional Luck.
Epic cards can also be reserved. Reservation of Epic or other non fodder cards are reserved only if a member does not have that card.

Event.

Event Crafted cards will be supplied by "thehive".
Event Mission will be available if we can get to them.

Records.

Looking at the options of buying a record at 1 HBD each.
These records would then be made available to members at a reduced cost.

Legend Cards.
Legends, we have options on. Some will come from packs. Others we have the option to purchase and hold.

Enrolment and fee's.

50 HBD. Only applies to the first year.
Yearly fee. 5 HBD. (Not applied to enrolment year).

Enrolment and yearly fee's are set at when membership begins. You keep the yearly fee you start with.

These costs will increase year on year for new members. The yearly fee will grow each year. While members retain their original fee at time of taking membership.

I think the idea is quite interesting, but it seems to miss the main reason why people want to reduce the number of cards.

The real issue is the long synchronization time for large accounts, especially those with a huge number of cards. This problem is only getting worse since big accounts keep growing, and smaller accounts are also expanding. If I remember correctly, some of the top accounts mentioned that syncing their cards takes more than 4 days.

That’s why the purpose behind burning cards is to reduce the load on the servers—both for the game and for third-party services—and to speed up synchronization times.

This is why no one actually “wants” a blend. What they really want is a solution to this problem. People aren’t willing to lose their stats unless the blend gives them a 1:1 equivalent.

So, the core idea isn’t about burning cards or reducing their numbers. It’s about solving the synchronization issue. Burning and blending are just some of the ideas that have come up as possible solutions

We could propose a system where players with over 100,000 cards receive a custom NFT that consolidates the stats of certain common or duplicate cards.

How It Would Work:
This NFT would sum the total stats of specific repeated or common cards.
The process could even be done manually, as the number of players with such massive collections is very small. However, these players likely own the majority of all cards, so the impact on synchronization would be significant.
Benefits:
No Loss of Stats: Players wouldn’t lose any stats, as the custom NFT would reflect the exact total of the cards consolidated.
Unique NFT Ownership: They would receive a unique NFT exclusive to them, representing a one-of-a-kind card that no one else can have.
Faster Synchronization: By consolidating thousands of duplicate cards into a single NFT, synchronization times would drastically improve.
Achievement-Based NFTs: Additional unique NFTs could be awarded for reaching specific milestones.
How It Could Be Implemented:
This process could occur every “X” weeks.
Players would send their duplicate cards to a burn account.
In exchange, the game creator would mint a new NFT with the exact same stats but consolidated into a single card.
This would reduce the card count while preserving the player's overall stats.
Example of Achievement-Based NFTs:
For example, if a player burns 50,000 Luck in pianos (only common cards), they could receive a unique piano NFT with the same total stats but at a reduced ratio of 1:50,000.
This would reduce the synchronization load while rewarding players with a one-of-a-kind collectible.
I believe this approach would solve the synchronization issue by consolidating large inventories without devaluing the player’s collection. It would also add an element of exclusivity and reward the top collectors with unique NFTs.

It should probably happen with 250 cards And then cards of a 250 can be join in bunches of 100.

Another option would be to cover the costs of a stronger server by implementing a progressive fee on withdrawals.

How It Would Work:
The fee would be designed to minimize the impact on smaller players while still being significant enough to cover operational costs.
For example, a fee of 0.1% for every 100,000 Fans a player has, up to a maximum of 1% for accounts with 1 million or more Fans.
(These values are just an idea and can be adjusted as needed.)
Where Would the Funds Go?
The STARBITS collected from this fee would be burned in the Music Promoter to obtain STARPRO daily.
This STARPRO could then be exchanged for HIVE and eventually converted to fiat money.
By doing this, the sell pressure is applied to the stronger token (STARPRO), preserving the value of STARBITS.
Why This Approach?
Small accounts with less than 100,000 Fans would not pay any fees, ensuring they are not negatively impacted.
The cost would be distributed to larger players, who are the ones benefiting the most from improved synchronization speeds and the long-term viability of the game.
It’s a fair way to share the cost among those who contribute the most to the server load.
Additional Support from the Club:
As a Club, we could propose donating all STARBITS generated by the Club’s account to support this initiative.
We could discuss the possibility of getting authorization to use the Club account managed by TheHive for this purpose.
While the amount may be small at first, as the Club grows, this contribution would increase significantly over time, supporting the game’s infrastructure.
I believe this solution would fairly distribute the cost among the player base, strengthen the game’s economy, and ensure long-term stability by covering server costs sustainably.

Very hard for people to pay for something useful.
