My New Mini Coffee Press
I've started putting my coffee through a french press. Normally I'd just put the coffee in the cup, pour in hot water and wait for the granules to settle. It meant I also didn't drink all the coffee since I'd be drinking granules too. It also meant I couldn't make coffee to go, since the granules would ruin my coffee flask - or at least require me to clean the flask before a refill.
I had a press before but it was quite large and meant for making up to 4 cups of coffee. It's ideal for when friends or family come over and I make coffee for everyone. I know I could just pour one cup into it and make a quarter of the capacity, yes, but the press is so large and doesn't fit under my hot water dispensing kettle. Want more excuses? 😂
I once found a mini press like this one in PoundLand but it broke while I was trying to wash it prior to first use. You get what you pay for you see. I was glad to come across this one at Morrisons for only £4.25. The glass felt a lot less fragile when I examined it so I was quite confident it wouldn't break like the PoundLand one. It didn't. I've since made dozens of one-cup coffees using this press. It fits nicely under my kettle so I don't have to transfer the water from a cup. Good stuff.
I also noticed Morrisons is selling this on Amazon (UK). If your shopping is over £60 total, you get free same day delivery in selected areas. It also works out a little cheaper. Other than that, I can't find anything near this price anywhere online or offline. I think I got a great deal.
Peace & Love,
