A new build is off the bench!

It's always a good day when I finish building a guitar. This build took about two months, and it had a few interesting challenges for me.

The design of the pickups, the neck join and the integration of a piezo pickup had me scratching my head, but in the end, I think it worked out really good and I'm quite proud of it.

Almost a year ago, I built another hollowbody guitar that had a similar bridge as this one, but... due to some feedback from a player, I decided to fix this one in place after having it properly intonated.

As I usually do, I recorded a rather long video talking about the guitar and what have you. My brother @pechichemena also shows up for a minute and jams on it. Had to take advantage of the fact he visited my shop this weekend as I was completing the build.

As always, I'm grateful to everyone who watches these.

Cheers

Thanks!

thank you my friend

Beautiful work, well done!! How did you get it to that color? Is it paint, stained wood, or something else?

im spraying nitro... i do use stain sometimes... but this time it's nitro with tint on it.

That's a cool guitar. I love that you do things you don't see from the big companies. Do you like the strings to run straight through from the nut to the tuners? I have seen other builders say they do that.

its not 100 percent needed in my opinion, but it is better. It's easier for the tunning stability. Otherwise you have to make sure the nut is well lubed and the cuts have to be slightly tilted to help with reducing the friction. So... I prefer to do it like that when I can.

Hey @meno, here is a little bit of BEER from @steevc for you. Enjoy it!
