We started our day with big breakfast and planing our day trip. Before we get to Madeira we made a big list of things we want to see.
It was very early so we decided to drive on the northside of the island on the hills, and we hoped to take a glimpse of a sunshine rays, but on this island you will never know how the wether is going to be on this day our maybe should I say exactly at that moment. We were unlucky, there was fog all around us, but it was still a wonderful view.
Our next stop - Porto Moniz
I wanted to go for a swim, so we visited lava pools. This pools were created from the lava flow, but don’t worry, this volcanoes are now extinct and now are pounded by big Atlantic waves. We swum here, sunbathe, and now I can finally say that I jumped in the Atlantic oceans. I swum in a ocean, and this is something you can’t take away from me.
We got into the car and drove to our next destination, but before we got there, I think we stopped like 4 times to see this beautiful nature, it is just impossible not to stop, because is so much to see, and of course I wanted to take pictures of every little thing on this island.
I don't know every name of our stops, because I was too excited to remember them. But, I have pictures.
We went to Sao Vicente.
This is a beautiful small town with amazing forest, landscape sculpted from the volcanic forces, and a river that flows into the sea. After some walking we decided to go eat something, on this island they have a lot of traditional food and I need to try everything, and of course sangria.
We have planned our whole day, and I still can't believe it but we really stuck to the plan and managed to see everything on our list for this day.
When we arrived back at the apartment, we all went to sleep because the next day will be very interesting and full of adrenaline, and we need our strength. Why, you ask? Time for mountain biking.
