However, there are probably >1500 bot accounts just waiting in the wings to adopt AI that will be impossible to detect, soon coming soon, to each organic human person posting and curating on Hive. That, in fact, may be why Curie is falling into disuse, because organic appearing circle jerks of botted socks are about to replace the more easily disparaged pay for play scheme that is Curie and similar efforts.
Have you ever sampled the 'onboarded' accounts of Hive onboarding projects? Almost all of them do nothing. They don't post, don't curate, nothing. They're not actual people that joined Hive. They're soon-to-be bots, picked up for free by the stake heavy, awaiting better AI to enable them to scam away the rewards pool, AFAICT.
