I have to ask before I get to the reason I am writing this post... Why in the decentralization are we STILL using web 2 methods when there are web 3 remedies? I have seen A LOT of projects come and go for one reason or another.
Anyone remember Rabona? What about Holy Bread? As far as Holy Bread goes the person who took over realized they were incapable of doing anything with it and changed it up by creating a similar game called Thunkgaria. I have no idea if that game is still around but for anyone who has bought nft's for these projects and got left standing holding the bag (unable to sell their assets) I say we need to encourage projects to enable a couple features.
Get on unstoppable domains where there is just the domain name purchase price (no monthly or yearly fees) and then allow for projects to be acquired by others instead of letting a project die. I think in this way we can see more progress as people enter and leave projects as creators or mere participants in any form (gamers... etc).
I have thought about ways to improve things even though I am not a developer/programmer and as I was adding to my dcity holdings yesterday the thought of allowing projects to be acquired through decentralized web sites came to me. I had wondered why more people do not use web 3 domains for some time.
I am sure there is a learning curve but one can not be afraid to learn because that is holding yourself back.
Anyway as I just mentioned I was adding to my DCity holdings last night and I bought close to 100 cards. The above image shows I have a total of 439 cards but then I noticed I bought some cards I thought were something else and needed to buy the cards I had intended to buy. I ended up added gyms, job centers, police stations, farms, weed farms, weed dispensaries, schools, factories and cinemas. I may have missed a few but this was about the gist of what I added. My aim was to attempt to raise my city earning income along with maybe some added weed income.
I am unsure at the moment how well this worked out but I can say I have 0 unemployment. 😁😁 My current population is 777 with room for over 1000 more if I am understanding what I am looking at properly. If what I think is incorrect and someone reading this has a better understanding please correct me.
Anyway. Let's get on the move and do this decentralized web 3 thing right by using web 3 remedies.
