Aha! It's a fabulous Monday. We are in the last week of the year's first month. Yesterday, someone on Threads said he feels January is very long. Perhaps he feels the days go by slowly although it seems fast to me.🤓 Oh well, depending on how we see it, both can be good (or not). Time slowing down may mean we are not cramming or under pressure to accomplish or do things.
Time flying by could mean we might be enjoying the things we do and before we know it, the day is over. Or we may be doing too much to the point that we have unfinished businesses, thus feeling the days are short. Maybe... or not... Oh well, enough of that before I spurt out more nonsense, lol!
Sometime in November, the Lil Guy and I had a wee walk. We took the shortcut along the boundary where the boys had just finished plowing (that goes to say I wanted to check on them). It was midmorning, just before 11 am. The tractor was shut off and they were resting. One of them on noticing me arriving teased saying I was bringing them snacks (by that they mean momma - betel nuts and all its mixes - tobacco among others).
"Oh no! I don't want you to spoil the land with your colored spits," I joked back making them roar into laughter. I find it odd that instead of munching on bread or food, they chew momma, a costly vice, I say. And then some of them have the habit of spitting anywhere which I detest so much I had to tell them frankly.
So I was distracted by the teasing and some more serious chat afterward. The Lil Guy, on the other hand, took his time running around, investigating (sniffing), and such.
Some 8 minutes later, he was curled up in the corner, looking bored because we were not moving, lol
Another two minutes passed. He was already giving me that look. He must be on that moody spell because my attention wasn't on him. It might be funny but yes, he sulks.
And just when I looked around to call on him so we could go on with our wee adventure, I noticed he was already half asleep, lol!
We were only there for about ten minutes! My wee poor boy! Perhaps he was exhausted from the running... and the little wait. Well, we did go on that walk but only for a short while, along the narrow road just below the property.
