##Holloween Ride
We met at the base of one of the largest towers in Pertoto Madero. Wheels and scooters gathered just before sunset to take a ride around the area and have fun on Halloween.
To the left is my son doing what he normally does, bowing the head to the Instagram gods. Hardly enough the crowd we were riding with this evening were at least half female.
I got there a bit late and they were already some gathered but then more started pouring out of the Tower where they had had a pre-ride gathering inside. I had been in another Halloween party so I didn't make the pre-party.
This ride was not as massive as the last one we took mid Winter. But a lot of the same people were there so I already knew a few people that we would be riding with.
Here's a shot of the group right before we left to circle this whole area. Looks like there are 10 women and only 7 men. so electric vehicles and electric unicycles are not just for guys!
Silly string and fireworks seem to be the order of business as well as some golden confetti. We stopped every so often to regather and start back up again at this point we blew off some steam, or should I say smoke bombs.
Then the ride continued back into automobile over the bridge and down by the nature preserve and a couple of kilometers later we all stopped for some ice cream.
When my kids were little, we used to go out and try to trick or treat which doesn't work well at all down here in Argentina. I was out riding all day with my two boys and then back home for a quick recharge on the wheel and back out for a night ride. It's much more fun to do 40 mph around one of the richest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, cruising well groomed streets and bike paths with them now that they are both grown up and working in the field. My kids not only get to ride but they also get to repair some of these cool vehicles!
