My family has always been the fundamental pillar of my life. Each member, with his or her peculiarities and talents, has contributed to create a nucleus full of love and shared experiences. Among all the activities we have enjoyed together, the visits to the countryside are the ones I treasure the most. There is a particular magic in those days, where simplicity and nature surround us, allowing us to reconnect with each other and with what is essential.
One of my favorite images is of the boys, ever so enthusiastic, running towards the chicken coop. It's a scene that never gets old, them running in with laughter and coming out with their hands full of fresh eggs. Seeing them participate in something so simple yet so meaningful, like collecting eggs for breakfast or for some recipe we will cook together, fills me with immense happiness. It is a reminder of the importance of the natural and the essential, and how small daily tasks can become moments of learning and fun.
Then there is Lola, our dog, the boys' tireless companion. Her presence in the field is always a source of joy. Lola has an infectious energy and unwavering loyalty, always ready to follow the boys on their adventures. Watching how they interact with her, how they include her in their games and how she responds to them with affection and protection, is a priceless spectacle of love and camaraderie.

I love to think of those moments when, with the sun going down, we all gather around the fire. There, with a fernecito or a glass of good wine in hand, conversations flow with a naturalness that only the atmosphere of the countryside can provide. We talk about everything and nothing at the same time, dreams and memories, past anecdotes and future plans.
The fire is not only a meeting point, but also the heart of our gatherings. Preparing a barbecue in its warmth is almost a sacred ritual. Everyone has a role to play, from the one who stokes the embers to the one who cuts the meat and prepares the picada. It is a team effort that culminates in a shared meal, where the effort and time invested are savored in every bite. As the smoke rises and the aromas envelop us, I feel a deep gratitude for these moments.
Health, always so precious, plays a crucial role in our ability to enjoy these gatherings. Knowing that we are all well, able to move, work, laugh and eat together, is a gift I never take for granted. Life has blessed us with the opportunity to be together, to share these experiences and to create memories that will stay with us forever. Each visit to the field is a reminder of how fortunate we are to be able to enjoy each other's company in such special surroundings.
