Beyond the pudding

Hello hivers,there is an African delicacy that I was craving for, today I had to take my time to cook and eat to my satisfaction. Its actually stressful but taste nice with more nutritional value. This African delicacy is "Ekpang nkukwo"(cocoyam and wateryam pudding). Like I said it's expensive but small in quantity after cooking. It's very good especially for breast feeding mothers,it makes them to relax well and also boost breast milk. It's a complete natural meal from root crops.
The major condiments are: cocoyam, wateryam, dryfish, crayfish,vegetable or cocoyam leaf,palmoil, pepper and seasonings.

It's a delicious meal and can be prepared through the following ways: peel,wash and crate cocoyam and wateryam together.

Slice onions into a clean pot and add palmoil to it.

Wrap the pasta at moderate sizes using clean vegetable leaves, arrange them properly in the pot.

Put the pot on fire,leave it for few minutes then pour hot water into the pot and cover it for few minutes to steam. Add your well prepared dryfish, crayfish,pepper and seasonings and leave it on fire to steam out. Wash and slice your green vegetable,add to the pudding and stir. You'll enjoy it the more if served hot and in a tray.
This African delicacy is not only delicious but also serve as a natural sleeping pills. It relaxes the nerves,it aids easy and fast digestion. It's a special meal.
