A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words : Overcome Travel Anxiety

in #freewrite2 years ago

So, we know the holidays are fast approaching, it's going to be a lot of travel people are going have fun. I know, we probably feel like we're out of the woods but I just want us to be grateful that we're able to be outside to be amongst our loved ones and really really cherish this time.

So I just wanted to share a few tips with you. The holidays is supposed to be a time of Celebration to spend with your family but for some people it can be a stressful time. You know, maybe you don't have a lot of money to travel, or to buy gifts for your familly, or to get the food items that you may need.

That's why I want us to remember remember how we were last year and the year before and really cherish these holiday times that our family and friends and cherish the moments, I don't want us to get sidetracked about what we don't have. Just let's appreciate all the things that we do have.

Okay some of the best ways to get over holiday anxiety and blues is for one do something for somebody else and a small active service for somebody in need.

It will brighten up your day. I know, it's just like really a public service announcement for anybody who is feeling a little down or stressed or anxious during this for most people in the states or in other parts of the world. it is cold sometimes, they do fall back so the weather isn't as nice as it is.

Here in my country, we are doing our festive season, so we're hyped. You know, for the people that are watching that are maybe in different parts of the world some people get the seasonal depression because the weather is cold. You don't be out, you don't get a lot of the natural sunlight. Just take some time exercise go for a walk, just get out in nature.

If you start thinking about loved ones that are no longer here, if you are mourning a loved one, I just suggest that you just remember all of the good times that you have with them. No one is telling you not to grieve or how to grieve but just remember the good times and celebrate their life during the holidays, do something that reminds you of them during the holidays.

So another thing, don't over indulge in food or drinks during the holidays. I mean it may be easier said than done, but I promise you will feel better because when it's time to make that New Year's resolution, if that's something that you do, you don't want to be like, “oh now I gotta cleanse my body, I gotta start over or get back into shape”.

So don't over indulge in alcohol or food and get plenty of rest like arrest your body, rest your soul . People have a lot of time off during this time, it's the perfect time to rejuvenate and prepare for the new year during this holiday time. It's the perfect time totry something new try New Traditions because sometimes the holidays like I said can be a little time of anxiousness or depression for some people.

So, try some new things, if your grandmother is not with you or your mom or a close loved one that you've lost. start New Traditions, start New Traditions with your family, with your friends to get over some of the older Traditions that may remind you of loss.

Remember to say no to things. like, set your boundaries. Say no to things that you don't really want to do remember. Don't overstep their boundaries. Like I said it's the holiday season, it's a time for us to be grateful that we can be outside, that we can be amongst our loved ones after years of not being able to. So, let's be grateful be grateful for all of our blessings.

These are some great tips and helpful reminders. sometimes we get carried away by what we think a holiday should look like. We forget that a holiday is something we should personalize to suit us.

Thank you for this. There is a lot I am taking from this post. For instance, I am not going to overindulge in food and treats and I'm going to say no when something isn't right for me.

Well done.

This is really inspiring. Thanks for the advice and tips on how to live a holiday anxiety free and be the best version of ourselves.

I'm glad you wrote this. For many December is one of the worst months of the year! How great it would be if we did something for and with someone else. It's important to celebrate life, and friendships and have, or start new traditions.

Thank you for joining pic1000. 👍

Sometimes we just worry too much for things which we shouldn't. Thank you so much for the reminder to stay strong and positive minded in this last month of the year.

Happy new month to you 🥰🎉🥳.
