Checking up on the Garden today

in #garden2 days ago

Let me take you all through my garden today, it's been blooming right now with greens. I had planted seeds for some veggies and now they are all grown up. I have fenugreek, radish, lemongrass, Coriander growing additionally to what I already have. Some of them like coriander, lemongrass and fenugreek are already ready to be used. Radish I needs to wait for few more days and then can use that as well. For the radish I am not yet sure, if they are the white or the pink ones. Anyways I like both of them so whichever comes out it's nice.

That's the radish growing.

Radish leaves can also be used in cooking, we make a dish of it with potatoes and it taste very good. They are a good source of Vitamin C, magnesium and Potassium and helps in lowering blood sugar and inflammation. I normally consume it in my salad on daily basis. It taste a little bitter but I like it. Radish leaves also helps in boosting immunity. With so many benefits why not have it growing in the garden :-)

This is fenugreek. It is very good in boosting testosterone. We normally make a vegetable dish out of it. This also has good properties of lowering blood sugar.

Have Coriander growing, this is a very common ingredient in my kitchen which is used daily and in every dish that I make, majorly for garnishing purpose. Having it growing is very beneficial for me to source it directly from the garden.

Garlic is also growing up well. I have still not used it, but last week I had some guests and they did use it for cooking.

Lemongrass, which I ideally use in making tea.

All of these are common ingredients which are used almost on daily basis. It's really nice to have them growing in the garden itself. Day by day I am becoming a big fan of home gardening and I keep on experimenting new things in my garden. There is so much more to still do, but lot of plans are on hold and I will only do it when I permanently shift here.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Your garden crop has turned out very well in which you have planted radish and fenugreek as well as spinachNow you do not need to go to the market, you can cut it daily and make vegetables in which you can use potatoes in any form.

That's what the intention is
