Working on my plants

in #garden4 days ago

With the change in season now it's the right time to rework on my garden here in Muscat. It's a very small garden space but I make it a point that it keeps blooming. This summer was bad and most of my plants dried up, I was feeling very annoyed. I had too much of travelling also and because of that reason I had to keep relying on other people to look after my garden, which did not go very well. Anyways this summer everyone has been complaining about their gardens.

I got some soil bags from the nursery and then yesterday along with the help of my house helper together we re-soiled all the pots. It was a tedious job but at the end of it when I looked at my garden I felt good. Some of the pots are heavy and I could not do all those lifting work alone, so help was needed.

I have one more garden where the big plants are placed, which I still need to work. On one of them there is a honey comb, that's also completely dried up during the summer, there are few bees on it though. I need to call a professional to remove it because I do not have the talent to do it myself. Once that is done then only I can do the soiling part, because the beehive is in such a way that if I move the plant little bit also it will disturb the bees.

This is the final result after all the work is done in the first garden. Bougainville, Basil, Aloe vera it has all started growing well again.

While the work is in progress, there is so much mess.

I have removed the old soil and put the new in most of the plants

Thanx to my helper who did help me a lot with the soiling and cleaning part

I had bought 5 soil bags and all of them were used up.

I had 4 big Aloe veras but 2 of them dried up, now I have 2 remaining. Hopefully they will grow well from here on.

This is a new money plant that I purchased, which I placed in near my dining table.

I'm sure, this type of season, you will have a blooming garden ma'am.😊

Finally you have all great things in a go.

You guys did a good job, hopefully the garden will do well this period.

The money plant looks familiar. I also experienced growing an aloe Vera plant only for it to dry up some months later, I was told the pot was too little. I think it's beneficial to have such kind of plants at our homes as it's a great way to uplift our energies, replenish them.
