Of course how could we not see this proposal come out from the printer party.. Some sleazy Democratic House members of course floated the wonder idea of sending Americans "GAS" stimulus checks, This was a week ago that it was tossed around, a whopping $100-$300* per month to help offset the "fixable" rising prices. There might be a simpler solution though likely won’t get traction.

Something about a pipline? It does reflect the increasing pressure that high gas prices are putting on politics and the economy, even though there is no damn need but of course It's better if USA continues to just print money.. nothing ever bad happened by doing this..

California Gig -profits

Gas hit a national average high of $4.33 a gallon a couple weeks ago, according to AAA, Though since I work and live in California, it’s still rising, topping $7 a gallon in Los Angeles County this week,

Making even more insane to be working any gig services after those crazy COVID years.
With the "help" of the gig apps paying out their own sort of Gas stimulus Gig Apps Supporting you through rising gas prices ⛽📈and now this Stimulus might help the GIG economy and bring in more work from clients as well. WINWIN short term loner term we are all fucked.

A Rideshare Guy survey This month according to the survey these insane gas prices in California had caused more than half of drivers to either cut back their hours or quit.

Hybrids are of course better for these times of high Gas prices full EV even better maybe it's time for a TESLA and deliver food to clients.

Found this video informative and the current situation.

Hey $300 is $300 even better for Cryptos.

Sort:

The big problem is that with high gas prices in world, there is also rise prices of necessary foodstuffs

If this situation continues like this, most people will probably quit using fuel and turn to clean energy

The smart government thinks of the least damage and losses and gaining the trust of people instead of harming citizens when there is a crisis

The gas prices in California are crazy. I don't really plan on driving much unless I have to. First, they want to push toward EVs which are expensive then they pay people for cars. I don't even know what they think anymore.

World prices now for gas are rising. On the news everywhere gas prices all have one thing in common, expensive. I heard some taxes reduction to offset the high prices. Or is that just talking !

Rising gas prices seem to be a major problem lot of countries are going through. Hope the government properly handle this by reducing the burden on its citizens.

I guess I'll have to retire my gas powered weed wacker and use the hand shears.

It does reflect the increasing pressure that high gas prices are putting on politics and the economy

It is definitely affecting the economy as prices are going up

state should take measures like increasing percentage of wages in jobs or reduce taxes, right?

Nice post, bro!! They can't think on long term solutions that can increase real wage (purchasing power), like tax decrease maybe?!

I would recommend to take a look about OPEC, they control the global oil supply. I wrote a post about inflation, also about monetary expansionims and context.

Undoubtedly the current situation regarding the war is rooted in oil prices, because imports have been reduced, I imagine. If the situation continues like this, costs will probably increase much more.

All that printing money from COVID to the gas stimulus and all that is only going to come crashing down. Some say "they" are ruining the US economy, they should know that. But that is exactly the point isn't it?

While I will take that $300 it is a sort of ploy to make UBI a bit more acceptable for the people. And next will come the dreaded CBDC... but again with public acceptance (probably after banks are attacked and our current fiat called "no longer safe").

Gas is hovering around $3.89 to $4.19 upstate New York right now. And still a full EV is starting to be attractive!
