This week lotto was crazy!
Once again I bring a post about the HK-LOTTO from @hivekings to give you all some inside numbers and of course my personal experience.
First of all let me share the results:

We can see that all the prizes were given to 4 lucky winners; @operahoser, @dracozauberer , @darloso , and myself @aniol77.
The statistics and luck
I took some information from the blockchain and made myself a mock chart with the chances to win of every participant.
No surprise the winners were the 4 people with more tickets for the lotto, but the interesting part is who gets which prize.
With statistics we can try to ensure to win a certain number of prizes, but it is impossible to know which prize you will get.
Let's see the numbers:
- @operahoser was the lucky winner of the first prize, and got 140941 BUDS minus his investment, gives us 128352 BUDS profit!!!
- @aniol77 (me) : I won the 2nd,3rd,7th,10th prize, which is what i expected because i had almost the half of the tickets and i expected to win at least 4 prizes. I spent 40000 BUDS, and won 108097 so i earned 68097 BUDS! Not bad😚
In my calculation by winning 4 prizes i have a 83,33% of getting my investment back, so it was pretty save bet. - @dracozauberer was the lucky winner here, he was the fourth hiest percentage to win, but it was way lower than the other 3 winners. But luck made its way here and he got 7180 BUDS in profit giving him a 449% profit from what he invested! Congratulations🎉🎉🎉
- @darloso was not so lucky this time, because he bought so many tickets and just got 3 of the minor prizes. He lost 16683 BUDS, luck wasn't with him this time.
Don't loose your faith, cause as we have seen this week, anyone can win and if you get lucky you can earn a lot of buds. Also we have to learn from this, numbers are here to guide us, but we have to remember it is a game of luck and the result is unknown till the end.
