This was the first week of HashKings new Seed Pool where you burn BUDS or MOTA and receive seeds for the various Land Regions.
I had rented two South America and one Mexico Land Plots so needed seed to plant on those plots. I decided to add BUDS to the Seed Pool.
I took these screen shots about an hour before the payout of seeds. I received 3 seeds for Mexico and 10 for South America land plots just like it shows.
I have planted seed in my rented plots, so now I needed to buy 1976 HKWater for those planted seed. I used funds from last weeks post and purchased the needed water. After watering the seed, now I just have to wait the required time before I can harvest.
Raids
I have a Lucky Shaggi avatar that I received as a prize in an airdrop sometime mid last year but I never did anything with it. I think I had also received a joint and burnt it to give XP to my avatar.
I discovered that I can use my avatar in Raids.
I have been entering the raid most every day since starting to explore the game this year. At first I was disappointed that I did not have enough total raid power (23.4) to earn BUDS. As you can see from the screen shot you need to have 279.3577...Power to get 1 BUDS.
This requirement changes as more players join the raid. Based on this, I will never earn BUDS until I get more Avatars or more power for the avatar I do own.
I was very surprised when I noticed that I have earned EXP from participating in the raids. Granted it is a very small amount and will take a long time to get enough to buy a joint in the shop. It is good to know that my participation in the Raids is not in vain.
Staking BUDS
My staked BUDS balance is now up to 5858. I am still trying to figure out what the "Next Rewards" on the bottom of the screen represents. I know I will learn eventually since I am reading lots of older post about Hashkings. But in the meantime, my staked BUDS balance keeps increasing which is a good thing.
I also learned of a daily drop from my staked BUDS of the HKGENTHREE pack token. I have been receiving a drop every day for a while now. I only have a small amount of BUDS staked so will need to increase my staking activity as I earn more BUDS from farming.
I have also been entering the HashKings Splinterlands tournaments. I have earned a little of the HkGENTHREE pack token from the tournaments I have entered. I have accumulated a balance of .867 HKGENTHREE Maybe in the next week or two I will have enough to get me one of the Avatar packs which would give me more raid power when participating in raids.
