Hey community!
10 days ago we announced our development proposal explaining who we are, what we have made for HIVE, our actual situation, and why we are asking the DHF and the HIVE stakers for funding.
We wanna thanks to everyone that voted for us and we are happy to say we are at 58% of the required votes to get funded.
After talking with some cool guys and following the advice of @guiltyparties in which he recommends we share with you all the information regarding expenses, salaries, and revenue. As we have stated before all our movements are totally transparent.
HK BREAKDOWN
This is a summary of our actual state regarding funds, of course, we know this isn't enough so we will attach the last invoices and transactions we have made to proof them. Dynamic expenses can be even bigger than the range we set in the spreadsheet as mostly depends in how much art do we create for the ecosystem (for interfaces, NFTs, etc), as you can see HK is one of the most good-looking games in HIVE.
- Hive-engine node
- Heroku - UI
- Vultr
- Cloudflare
- MongoDB
- Multichain node 1
- Multichain node 2
Why is there a small difference between the paid amount and the attached amount in the spreadsheet? Basically because as we are dealing with fiat and most of these bulls are paid for our master dev in Colombia, there are many fees that we have to deal with and at the top of that there's another change when spending Colombian pesos to pay $ bills.
PART 2
Salaries:
Since we included BANG! defense in our ecosystem, the payments for the fixed salaries are done half and half from the main vaults of HK and half from the BANG! vault is basically is the same team but helps us in reducing costs for both elements of the ecosystem.
In this screenshot, you can see the payment sent for the salaries of the last month. (the half sent from @hk-bang, the other half were sent from @hk-vault, @hashkings accounts)
Choof has a $1000 salary as he's the main dev but in the last month, he required an advance to pay his bills so that's why you can see he got less HIVE than chocolatoso who is the master dev of HK, and also earns $1k and Liuke which is the CEO and also earns $1000. At the last transaction, you can see @rama142694 which is our frontend dev and he earns $800 per month.
Finally in the last month after the BANG! defense presale we hired a new dev who for example built the curation system we just launched successfully this week and he earns $800.
So to recapitulate, salaries are sent from these accounts:
Dynamic expenses
As well as the tx above, all the expenses are sent half/half from the accounts mentioned before. For example, all the expenses related to art are sent always to the same Binance account as are sent to the ART director and he helps us with the payments to the art team
Other dynamic expenses are related to the art of NFTs (like lore, music, etc) and as HK is hypertokenized and each token asks you a charge of BEE, adding properties to NFTs are also an expense for us.
Almost of these payments are done directly in HIVE so they are tracked and registered in the accounts we mentioned above.
Actual funds
So our actual funds, as we dont't have any money outside of HIVE cause we don't find it necessary and we don't sell HIVE until is really necessary for example when paying our FIAT bills.
Our development funds are in the same accounts mentioned above:
8098 HIVE
29.469 HBD
Just to be clear, all other HK tokens in these accounts are not ours by the ones that users use when they play and interact with the ecosystem. For example the mota is the ones that are staked, the water is the ones that were used in farming, opened avatar packs, etc
SWAP.HIVE 2517
HIVE 6222
HBD 65.58
Other HE tokens $80
SWAP.HBD 1162.225
HIVE 4327
SWAP.HIVE 7291
Other tokens $1800
Final words
As you can check above and if you dig into our ecosystem is that most of the revenue sources are owned by the players, most of the value is for the players and this decentralized revenue is our biggest triumph but at the same time the team has to face a lot of struggle to keep the innovation active, and also we are creating more value for the ecosystem than we are actually investing on.
Our team is totally committed to keep building experiences on HIVE and this time considering the downtrend market and our situation, we are asking for a hand from the DHF to help us in this goal.
Of course, this asks for help with just last at the worst of the cases during this year, as we are focusing now on creating more revenue sources for our team which is mostly focused on our own NFT market and other regular income sources. Isn't something cool for us to ask for help but we believe that the community like what we have built and all that we are building for it and in these rough times we have to do it.
Thanks and I hope you can consider voting for our proposal.
