{ENG/SPN} Puff pastry pizza - Pizza de hojaldre

Hey! We can make pizza easily and quickly at home. The possibilities are countless. Today I am showing you a very interesting and original idea when you get together at home for a movie, a football match, console games or why not a children's birthday party. It is also very quick as it is made with ready made puff pastry. To make the recipe even quicker I recommend using rolled out and rolled puff pastry. For the filling you can use whatever ingredients you like or are in your fridge. Here is my variation:

Ingredients:

  • 370 grams rolled puff pastry
  • 100 grams of sausage of your choice
  • 100 grams of gouda
  • 50 grams of mayonnaise
  • 70-80 grams of blended tomatoes (I use Bulgarian fine-ground chutney)
  • oregano

Optional:

  • 1 egg for spreading

Optional sauce:

  • 200 grams of yogurt
  • 100 grams mayonnaise
  • fresh dill

Preparation:

First prepare the ingredients for the filling. Mix the blended tomatoes (chutney) with the mayonnaise. Cut the sausage into small cubes. Grate the gouda on the fine part of the grater.

Then unfold the puff pastry. I cut it into 8 equal squares. Sometimes I get rectangles. It all depends on how the puff pastry is rolled out. I cut each square/rectangle in half diagonally into two triangles. This should make 16 rectangular triangles. In the picture above I have shown how you need to arrange the triangles to get a flower shape. It is important to arrange them in a clockwise sequence.

Spread about 2/3 of the tomato/chickpea sauce in the middle. Then put the sliced sausage. Top with about 2/3 of the gouda and sprinkle with oregano to taste.

Beat an egg well and using a silicone brush, brush the edges of the 'flower' where there is no filling. Fold the inner edges inwards first, starting from the last triangle inserted in a counterclockwise sequence. Then fold the outer edges in the same way. At the end, the shape of the donut is obtained. Brush the resulting donut on all sides with the remaining egg. Sprinkle some oregano on top and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 25 minutes.

Remove the pizza and put the remaining tomato sauce on top. Then sprinkle with the remaining gouda. Return to the oven and bake until the crust is golden.

If desired, you can make a dairy sauce by mixing the yogurt with the mayonnaise and fresh dill. Bon appetit!

¡Hola! Podemos hacer pizza fácil y rápidamente en casa. Las posibilidades son innumerables. Hoy os muestro una idea muy interesante y original cuando os reunís en casa para ver una película, un partido de fútbol, juegos de consola o, por qué no, una fiesta de cumpleaños infantil. También es muy rápido, ya que se hace con hojaldre ya preparado. Para que la receta sea aún más rápida, recomiendo utilizar hojaldre laminado y enrollado. Para el relleno, puedes utilizar cualquier ingrediente que te guste o que tengas en la nevera. Esta es mi variación:

Ingredientes:

  • 370 gramos de hojaldre enrollado
  • 100 gramos de salchicha de su elección
  • 100 gramos de gouda
  • 50 gramos de mayonesa
  • 70-80 gramos de tomate licuado (yo uso chutney búlgaro de sal fina)
  • orégano

Opcional:

  • 1 huevo para untar

Salsa opcional:

  • 200 gramos de yogur
  • 100 gramos de mayonesa
  • eneldo fresco

Preparación:

En primer lugar, prepare los ingredientes para el relleno. Mezclar la mezcla de tomates (chutney) con la mayonesa. Cortar la salchicha en cubos pequeños. Rallar el gouda finamente en un rallador.

A continuación, despliegue el hojaldre. Lo corté en 8 cuadrados iguales. A veces se obtienen rectángulos. Todo depende de cómo se extienda el hojaldre. Corté cada cuadrado/rectángulo por la mitad en diagonal en dos triángulos. De esta forma se obtienen 16 triángulos rectangulares. En la imagen de arriba he mostrado cómo deben disponerse los triángulos para hacer una forma de flor. Es importante disponerlos en el sentido de las agujas del reloj.

Repartir aproximadamente 2/3 de la salsa de tomate y garbanzos en el centro. A continuación, poner la salchicha en rodajas. Cubrir con unos 2/3 del gouda y espolvorear con orégano al gusto.

Batir bien un huevo y pincelar los bordes de la "flor" donde no hay relleno. Dobla primero los bordes interiores hacia dentro, empezando por el último triángulo insertado en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj. A continuación, doble los bordes exteriores de la misma manera. Al final, se obtiene una forma de rosquilla. Pincelar la rosquilla resultante por todos los lados con el huevo restante. Espolvorear un poco de orégano por encima y meter en el horno precalentado a 200 grados durante 25 minutos.

Sacar la pizza y poner el resto de la salsa de tomate por encima. A continuación, espolvorear con el resto del gouda. Vuelva a meterlo en el horno y hornéelo hasta que la corteza esté dorada.

Si lo desea, puede hacer una salsa láctea mezclando el yogur con la mayonesa y el eneldo fresco. ¡Buen provecho!
