Hello everyone! after a few days, I'm back again, happy because last Monday I turned 27 and I couldn't be more grateful to life because I have health, a family and a husband who loves me, a baby on the way (still waiting to know if it's a girl or a boy) and some friends who give me a lot of love even from a distance, and although on Monday we couldn't do anything for my birthday, of course we did it on Tuesday and I tell you that Pawel invited me to eat hamburgers (my big craving in pregnancy) in a restaurant in Sosnowiec that I really wanted to try but always when we went there were no tables available because there were many people but this time it wasn't like that.
Primero estabamos indecisos si ir hasta allí o pedir a delivery pero finalmente terminamos yendo al restaurante llamado Street Food Park para caminar un poco también, además de que no era muy lejos de casa. Llegamos y vimos un letrero afuera con algunas opciones de su menú, pero ya nosotros habíamos visto el menú en internet y sabiamos lo que ordenariamos así que solo entramos, tomamos una mesa afuera abajo del toldo y luego Pawel fue hasta la barra a ordenar mientras yo esperaba sentada.
At first we were undecided whether to go there or order delivery but finally we ended up going to the restaurant called Street Food Park to walk around a bit too, plus it wasn't too far from home. We arrived and saw a sign outside with some of their menu options, but we had already seen the menu on the internet and knew what we would order so we just walked in, took a table outside under the awning and then Pawel went to the bar to order while I sat and waited.
La última vez que fuimos a este lugar no habían tantas mesas afuera como este día pero supongo que como ya hay días con más calor entonces decidieron poner más lo cual es bueno porque hay más probabilidades de que haya una mesa desocupada para nosotros cuando haya mucha gente. Este día no había mucha gente, pero si habían algunas mesas ocupadas adentro y afuera y teníamos un buen clima, con sol pero bastante fresco en el hermoso jardín del restaurante.
The last time we went to this place there were not as many tables outside as this day but I guess since there are already hotter days then they decided to put more which is good because there is more chance that there will be an unoccupied table for us when there are a lot of people. This day it was not crowded, but there were some busy tables inside and outside and we had nice weather, sunny but quite cool in the beautiful garden of the restaurant.
La fachada del restaurante me gusta mucho, y luego de que Pawel volvío a la mesa yo quise entrar para ver un poco adentro y hacer algunas fotos para mostrarles, el lugar es grande, en la entrada tienen un menú, nosotros ordenamos una hamburguesa estándar y Pawel un Pulled Pork para él o un pan con cerdo desmenuzado, además de una limonada para mí y una cerveza para Pawel. Me gustó que en el lugar aunque no tenían la limonada en el menú, la chica de la barra se ofreció a prepararme una ya que no quería tomar refresco por el embarazo y una hamburguesa con agua....
I really like the front of the restaurant, and after Pawel came back to the table I wanted to go inside to see a little bit and take some pictures to show you, the place is big, at the entrance they have a menu, we ordered a standard hamburger and Pawel a Pulled Pork for him or a bun with pulled pork, plus a lemonade for me and a beer for Pawel. I liked that at the place even though they didn't have the lemonade on the menu, the girl at the counter offered to make me one since I didn't want to drink soda due to pregnancy and a burger with water....
Verdad que es muy lindo adentro también? la limonada estaba deliciosa no muy dulce como yo la quería, solo le faltaba unos cubitos de hielo pero es que aquí en Polonia las personas al parecer están acostumbradas a tomar las bebidas a temperatura ambiente jajaja y yo en cambio me gusta todo frío si es con hielo mejor jajaja, pero lo digo porque Pawel es así prefiere el refresco sin hielo yo en cambio prefiero con mucho hielo jajaja.
The lemonade was delicious, not too sweet as I wanted it, it just lacked some ice cubes but here in Poland people are apparently used to drink drinks at room temperature hahaha and I instead I like everything cold if it is with ice better hahaha, but I say that because Pawel is like that he prefers the soda without ice, I instead prefer with lots of ice hahaha.
La chica primero trajo nuestras bebidas y unos minutos más tarde nuestra deliciosa comida, es decir no tardó demasiado, así que el servicio fue bueno. El Pulled Pork de Pawel venía acompañado de ensalada y un poco de rugula para decorar. Mi hamburguesa estaba bastante grande y venía acompañada de papas, yo la aplasté un poco y luego la pique por la mitad porque estaba haciendo un desastre jajaja.
The girl first brought our drinks and a few minutes later our delicious food, i.e. it didn't take too long, so the service was good. Pawel's Pulled Pork came with salad and some rugula for garnish. My burger was quite big and came with potatoes, I smashed it a bit and then chopped it in half because I was making a mess hahaha.
Todo estaba bueno, pero pudo ser mejor, sin embargo debo decir que disfruté mucho este día. Más tarde volvimos a la barra para pagar la cuenta de 89 zlotys, es decir aproximadamente 22 dólares, no mal porque el pan y la hamburguesa estaban bastante grandes y lo comimos todo. Eso fue todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado mi experiencia en Street Food Park, nos vemos en un próximo post. Saludos!
Everything was good, but it could have been better, however I must say that I really enjoyed this day. Later we went back to the bar to pay the bill of 89 zlotys, that is approximately 22 dollars, not bad because the bread and the burger were quite big and we ate it all.
