Happy and blessed start of the week! Here we start the school routine again, which means getting up early, preparing breakfast and being sleepy most of the day, at least until I adapt again, vacations make me sleepy and then I regret it, today my parents decided to take Mathias walking to school, so they can exercise a little bit too, I still can't add exercises to my routine, I'm just a week after my dental surgery and my gums haven't healed yet, so I stayed at home preparing my breakfast and trying to organize my day, and I must say that, so far I haven't done half of what I planned, but I'm on the right track.



When I started my diet I did it unexpectedly and without planning, first I did three days of detox based on diuretic fruits, pineapple and papaya was my food in those three days, I continued with the cabbage soup, and I have been varying between keto foods and some natural carbohydrates, alternating them according to what I have available at home, some people have asked me what kind of meals I make, how I combine them and the portions, the truth is that I have not fully organized myself with them yet, however, I try to do my best, mainly to not get bored, and to eat delicious food. One of the foods that I eat almost daily is eggs. I include them in salads, omelettes, scrambled eggs, and when I start to see them as just part of breakfast, things change completely.

This is how perfect my arepa looked Until I took it to eat it, I ended up eating it in pieces, don't believe all the perfect pictures you see.


A couple of days ago a friend was telling me how difficult it was for her to do any kind of diet, because she didn't know how to combine foods, and she didn't know how to cook, and thinking about her, I wanted to share with you what my three main meals can be like, without much stress, and without needing to have a great knowledge of cooking. For breakfast today I prepared a Keto arepa made with cheese and coconut flour filled with some scrambled eggs with some ham and cheese that I had left over from the filling of some pastries that I made for Mathias for school, and accompanied with my respective cup of black coffee without sugar, without a bad face, because coffee like this is delicious.





For lunch, I was lazy, so I had some lettuce with a couple of tablespoons of pickles and added a couple of tablespoons of mushroom and bacon sauce, some diced bacon, and parmesan cheese, to accompany a portion of grilled chicken and some banana slices that I prepared in the air fryer. As you can see, it's not a keto meal, and although it has carbohydrates that come from the banana, it's a minimal amount, and I accompanied it with a sugar-free strawberry slush. It certainly looks like a small amount, but I assure you that these amounts left me more than satisfied.



Another of the great fears of those of us who are food lovers is that if something is delicious, we want to eat a good amount, and when they tell us diet, or small portions, we get scared, however, when we put aside the carbohydrates it seems untrue, but we can satiate ourselves with smaller portions, and for example, what I share here.



Some time ago looking for information for my mother's diet, I came across a doctor who recommended making dinner with just a couple of eggs, I sincerely tried, but I couldn't, I needed to accompany it with something else, so, sometimes I accompany them with a salad, or with an omelet, either banana or cassava, other days like today, I accompany them with grilled cheese and bacon, Yes, many will say that some vegetables are missing, however, I did not feel like it, and also because of the time I was already lazy to do something else, because it is not just making something for me, it is preparing dinner for everyone, there comes a point where I say, I do not want to do anything else, tomorrow I give a % more, and so I go, thinking about daily goals regarding food, which is a difficult point for me.



Another reason why I wanted to share this with you, is that, there are days when, I swear, I feel like eating anything that is not healthy, however, I said, I will make my meals as they should be, to share them in Hive, this way, I force myself a little to meet the goal of the day, and let's say, motivates me a little, just like serving nice food, maybe looking for a nice glass, serving the juice in a nice glass instead of a simple glass, and at the end of the day, if I don't give myself the encouragement, I probably won't get it from someone else, and that's what it's all about, to take on the challenge and to manage to do it in the best way possible.

¡Feliz y bendecido inicio de semana! Por aquí comenzamos nuevamente la rutina escolar, lo que implica madrugar, preparar desayunos y andar con sueño la mayor parte del día, por lo menos hasta adaptarme nuevamente, las vacaciones me descontrolan el sueño y luego me ando arrepintiendo, hoy mis padres decidieron llevar a Mathias caminando a la escuela, con eso ellos también se ejercitan un poco, yo aun no puedo adicionar ejercicios a mi rutina, apenas tengo una semana de la cirugía odontológica y aún no ha cicatrizado mi encía, por lo que me quede en casa preparando mi desayuno y tratando de organizar mi día, y debo decir, que, hasta el momento no he hecho la mitad de lo que planifique, pero estoy encaminada.



Cuando comencé mi dieta lo hice de manera inesperada y sin planificación, primero hice tres días de desintoxicación a base de frutas diuréticas, piña y lechosa era mi comida en esos tres días, continúe con la sopa de repollo, y he ido variando entre alimentos keto y algunos carbohidratos naturales, alternándolos de acuerdo a lo que tenga disponible en casa, algunas personas me han preguntado qué tipo de comidas hago, como las combino y las porciones, la verdad es que aún no me he organizado del todo con ellas, sin embargo, trato de hacer lo posible, principalmente para no aburrirme, y para comer delicioso. Uno de los alimentos que consumo casi a diario, son los huevos, los incluyo en ensaladas, tortillas, revueltos, y al comenzar a verlos como solo parte del desayuno, las cosas cambian totalmente.

Así se veía perfecta mi arepa Hasta que la tome para comerla, termine comiéndola por partes, no creas en todas las fotos perfectas que veas.


Hace un par de días una amiga me comentaba lo difícil que para ella era hacer cualquier tipo de dieta, pues no sabía cómo combinar alimentos, y no sabía cocinar, y pensando en ella, quise compartir con ustedes como pueden ser mis tres comidas principales, sin mucho estrés, y sin necesidad de tener un gran conocimiento de cocina. Para el desayuno hoy prepare una arepa Keto a base de queso y harina de coco rellena con unos huevos revueltos con algo de jamón y queso que me quedo del relleno de unos pastelitos que le prepare a Mathias para el colegio, y acompañada con mi respectiva taza de café negro sin azúcar, sin mala cara, que el café así es delicioso.





Para el almuerzo, tenía pereza, tome lechuga con un par de cucharadas de pepinillos y le agregue un par de cucharadas de salsa de champiñones y tocineta, algo de tocineta en trocitos y queso parmesano, para acompañar una porción de pollo a la plancha y unas tajadas de plátano que prepare en la freidora de aire, como ven, no es una comida keto, y aunque tiene carbohidratos que vienen en el plátano, es una cantidad mínima, y lo acompañe con un batido granizado de fresas sin azúcar. Ciertamente se ve poca cantidad, pero les aseguro que estas cantidades me dejaron más que satisfecha.



Y es que otro de los grandes miedos de los que somos amantes de la comida, es que si algo esta delicioso, queremos comer una buena cantidad, y cuando nos dicen dieta, o porciones pequeñas, nos asustamos, sin embargo, cuando echamos de lado los carbohidratos parece mentira, pero nos podemos saciar con porciones más pequeñas, y para muestra, lo que les comparto aquí.



Hace tiempo buscando información para la dieta de mi madre, me encontré con un doctor que recomendaba hacer la cena con tan solo un par de huevos, sinceramente lo intente, pero, no pude, necesitaba acompañarla con algo más, por lo que, en ocasiones los acompaño con alguna ensalada, o con alguna tortilla, bien sea de plátano o de yuca, otros días como hoy, los acompaño con queso asado y tocineta, si, muchos dirán que falta algo de vegetales, sin embargo, no me apetecía, y además ya por la hora tenía pereza de hacer algo más, pues no es tan solo hacer algo para mí, es preparar la cena para todos, llega un punto en el que digo, ya no quiero hacer nada más, mañana doy un % más, y así voy, pensando en metas diarias con respecto a la comida, que es un punto difícil para mí.



Otra de las razones por las que quise compartir esto con ustedes, es que, hay días en los que, se los juro, me provoca comer cualquier cosa que no sea saludable, sin embargo, dije, hare mis comidas como se debe, para compartirlas en Hive, de esta manera, me obligo un poco a cumplir con la meta del día, y digamos que, me motiva un poco, al igual que servir la comida bonita, buscar tal vez un vaso lindo, servir el jugo en una copa linda en lugar de un simple vaso, y es que, al final del día, si no me voy dando el ánimo yo, probablemente no me lo de otra persona, y de eso se trata la cosa, de asumir el reto y de ingeniárselas para llevarlo de la mejor manera posible.

What I love about this type of food is that, although sometimes you don't see a large quantity, I am usually completely satiated and that is very important for me, since it helps me not to fall into temptations.

Hope you are well with your recipes.
Whenever I come across any of your recipe or food related posts, I always see updates related to diet. When I compare myself, I find myself completely different because I never noticed how I was eating and how much I was eating. I don't even need a diet, I think everyone's physical health works in their own way.
