[EGN/SPN] Chickpea stew with grilled chicken - Guiso de garbanzos con pollo a la parrilla

A short presentation of a video clip of my grilled chicken steak and chickpea stew.
Good combination with a very flavorful and pleasant taste.

Hello, fans, users of the community for the preparation of dishes, specialties and different types of desserts.

A community that allows me to share my own dishes and the way they are prepared in my kitchen and served on the table in my home.
Basically, I share with you traditional Bulgarian dishes from the Bulgarian cuisine with one purpose - to enrich your menu with ideas.
Today I decided to experiment,I usually prepare chickpeas from a can without meat.

Spinach, green beans, peas in combination with chicken are classics in Bulgarian cuisine.

Chickpeas are a bean vegetable,why not combine it with grilled chicken steak,which will give the dish a different and pleasant taste.The combination is good,and the end result will be good.

In this line of thought I decided to experiment and prepared this dish which I will now share with you.

I am preparing it for the first time in my home,,but it will not be the last time.It turned out to be a good combination,which I will repeat in future.

Required products:

  • 800 g / chickpeas
  • 200 g / can of tomatoes
  • 1 pc. / grilled chicken steak
  • 1 tbsp / white flour
  • 2 pcs / onion
  • 1 tsp / red pepper
  • 1 tsp / salt
  • 4 tbsp /oil
  • 30 g /mint
  • 30 g / basil

Method of preparation:

In a cooking pot, pour the oil, add the onion and tomatoes, mix well and add a tablespoon of white flour for a thicker consistency of the dish.
After a minute or two, add the paprika and salt.

Add a litre and a half of water and mix well.

Then add the washed chickpeas.
Add the chopped chicken steak in small pieces

Cook the dish to the desired thickness.
The finished dish has an amazing aroma.
Serve with optional salad.

Una comunidad que me permite compartir mis propios platos y la forma de prepararlos en mi cocina y servirlos en la mesa de mi casa.

Básicamente, comparto con vosotros platos tradicionales de la cocina búlgara con un propósito: enriquecer vuestro menú con ideas.

Hoy he decidido experimentar, normalmente cocino garbanzos de lata sin carne.

Las espinacas, las judías verdes y los guisantes en combinación con el pollo son clásicos de la cocina búlgara.

Los garbanzos son una legumbre, por qué no combinarlos con un filete de pollo a la plancha, lo que dará al plato un sabor diferente y agradable.La combinación es buena, y el resultado final será bueno.

En esta línea de pensamiento decidí experimentar y preparé este plato que ahora compartiré con vosotros.

Es la primera vez que lo preparo en mi casa,pero no será la última.Resultó ser una buena combinación,que repetiré en el futuro.

Necesidades:

  • 800 g / garbanzos
  • 200 g / lata de tomates
  • 1 ud. / filete de pollo a la plancha
  • 1 cucharada / harina blanca
  • 2 uds. / de cebolla
  • 1 cucharadita / pimiento rojo
  • 1 cucharadita / de sal
  • 4 cucharaditas / de aceite
  • 30 g de menta
  • 30 g / albahaca

Método de preparación:

En una olla, verter el aceite, añadir la cebolla y los tomates, mezclar bien y añadir una cucharada de harina blanca para que el plato tenga una consistencia más espesa.

Después de uno o dos minutos, añade el pimentón y la sal.

Añadir un cuarto y medio de agua y mezclar bien.

A continuación, añade los garbanzos lavados.
Añadir el filete de pollo cortado en trozos pequeños

Cocinar el plato hasta el espesor deseado.
El plato terminado tiene un sabor increíble.
Servir con la ensalada que se desee.

I would say salad is a must, not only for the fresh taste but it can lift up the dish with vibrant colors!
