It suddenly just started raining, and that time Mommy D is at a nearby store buying some stuff for her little Sari-Sari Store. So Mommy F called me asking me to bring an umbrella for Mommy D. It's not that far, but with the rain, Mommy D will surely get wet with it. And if it happens, she might get sick, and we don't want that, and so I brought the umbrella to her. When I arrived, I saw her still picking some snacks in the food rack in the store. But her attention is on something else, and when I check, I see a man with a fresh vegetable in a bundle.

And so I thought, maybe she's planning to buy fresh veggies from the man who's selling it. My plan is to go back home immediately after handing the umbrella, but she asked me to wait for the veggies. She also asked me to bring some soda from home, she bought some, of course, and it's for the store. Lol. So I waited, waiting is super annoying, to be honest. I really hate waiting, it's a good thing I have my earbuds with me, and I'm listening to my favorite Stray Kids songs. It helps me with my boredom in waiting. Lol. Music is seriously the best!

So here's the veggies Mommy D bought. And would you believe that all of them cost only 25 pesos for half a kilo? Yes, they sell it in kilos, unlike in a market that sells theirs with a tie, and it costs 10 pesos. We just discovered how much the sellers at the market gain profit on their Mustasa or mustard greens they sold. Lol. Well, we're not complaining, that's how they do business. But there are times that we can see how much vegetables just rot on their stalls. Like, maybe some people would rather just plant their own in their garden than buy at a high price. Just maybe, who knows really what's happening?

This is the sample of the 10 pesos in the market. I also tried to do it with the rest, and so, if we tried to sell it, we could get 8 ties with this amount of mustard greens. So if we sell it all, we can get 80 pesos, minus the 25 pesos to get half a kilo, that's a 55 pesos profit. Wahhh, that's seriously so cool. We don't have the plan to sell it, though, it's for our consumption. Hehe. And they are all really fresh, as you can see. ┏(^0^)┛

Anyways, with all these fresh mustard greens, Mommy D thought of making fresh mustard greens salad. There's not much on it, but it tastes divine.

Here it is, Mommy D cleaned the greens thoroughly with salt. It's really fresh and raw. But you can boil yours if you prefer that, as for us, we want a raw green leafy vegetable today. Then she put tomato, onions, and of course the mustard greens. And lastly, she put rock salt and a tablespoon of vinegar in it. And that's it. I love how she makes it, and I think it's because of its freshness, but there's also a hint of sweetness in it. It just tastes so good. With how simple the ingredients are, that makes it taste really good. I recommend it guys. A must try!

And remember the Sinaing sa Asin na Lagidlid I shared yesterday? I fry the leftovers today for lunch, and tadaaaah! Now this is what I'm saying. A perfect combo!
