Hello guitars! I have decided to make a series of posts describing each pedal that I had in my life and that I used (I had many that I did not use). This is episode 1, where I will talk about the first pedal I had, it is the DOD Supra Distortion FX55-B. It is a distortion pedal that can go from smooth to rock and maybe with the right amp and guitar I can get a sound close to metal.
Hola guitarras!
It is a pedal made in the USA in the 90's by DOD (today Digitech), it had 3 controls, level, tone, dist, in the dist control it had a booster at the end of the travel, it used 9v battery or current, its casing was made of metal and the plastic switch that seems quite delicate but the truth never gave any problems.

I bought this pedal when I was a little over 1 year old learning to play, in July 1994 more or less, I remember that for me it didn't matter if I played blues or pantera, the pedal gave me distortion and since it was what I did at that time I cared about it. It is not a pedal that I would buy again, the truth is that it is quite noisy and for the music that I play it is not useful to me, but at that time there was no youtube or any internet platform where you could check any product, it was "buy and try ", not bad to start but today there are better options with better features.
As I learned, I bought more pedals that progressively improved my tone, even along with this one that I describe here.... stay tuned for the next episodes.
A medida q fui aprendiendo fui comprando mas pedales q mejoraron mi tono progresivamente, incluso junto con este q describo aquí.... estén pendiente de los próximos episodios.
