Well Hello There Horsepower Lovers!!

Another German Problem!

Honestly they seem like they give a lot of problems but comparing them to other car makers I would say they might also be the most reliable! For sure actually!

Another thing I can give the Germans is that everything is overly complicated but also simplified in the same manner, I know this sounds whack! But finding problems on German cars is not that hard! Have a brain and understand and the problem becomes something fun to solve!

Oh yeah we've got another Megatronix!

Bad Condition!

I'll be honest by the looks of it this one has been worked on quite a lot before! But you can't blame a car maker for bad workmanship right?

This thin is absolutely dead in the water, I can't remember if we pulled codes from it, bossman says we did last year but we will wing this one, if we have to take it out again that is also fine! But this one appears to have an hydraulic issue, it keeps in pumping and never gains presssure!

A little boasting moment! I managed to remove the megatronix with the water feed pipe still in place! That is something that requires a great deal of patience and wiggle waggle without damaging the computer! Nice!

To the bench with her! It's something a slap removing them and I've seen guys breaking those black pins off constantly! Especially the dealer techs! Like why dude!

Now it's for the tear down to see what happened here!

Signs Of Pressure?

So this is kind of weird! This thing has a pump that's running constantly and yet it still has pressure on the inside almost an hour after the car was running!?

This is quite odd because I rarely even see these having pressure in cars that don't have the pressure problem! Quite cool to know things can still glitch out!
The oil is of a really bad condition though! That much is certain! A little too thick as well!

A Nasty Problem!

This might also be the first time where I've seen this many shit sticking to a filter! Seriously, the worst I've seen a filter was one that almost looked like a toiler paper roll that got wet, it swelled up big!

This though, I have never seen so much crap sticking to a filter! Might be the problem of not gaining pressure right! Let's tear it all down and clean her out!

All Set For The Build!

We can get rumbling now!

Sorry the cleaning process is a bit tedious so we wont be diving too deep into that one!

By the looks of it this Megatronix already has an after market block fitted inside it! Now we are going to wing it with that one and test if it hasn't indeed cracked! They get microscopic cracks and the oil leaks through them and yes micro scopic for us with no pressure but when this thing reaches 48 bars of pressure I think it leaks pretty hard!

Let's slap her together again!

I have to add, it feels nice assembling something that is so clean! It almost looks brand new! I sure did this one better than those other bloaks who let a ton of dirt inside!

Last But Not Least!

The right oil for the job and also enough of it to have this system running at best pressure!

This oil is hella expensive and people just don't want to pay that much for oil, but we insist!
Anyways! Let's go fit her and be done!
Onto the next!
