Well Hello There Horsepower Lovers!!
It's Me And A Ranger Again! Oh And A Chameleon!
How dope is that? A Chameleon as my little working buddy! LAUGHS! It's a little toy thingy that bossman had his kids print! Actually quite amazing right?
It's moveable and all that! Fancy stuff! I never knew a 3d printer could print like that? Well I suppose there is a lot I don't know!
Let's dig into this transmission now! Bossman said it doesn't have 6th gear or rather (Sixth gear ratio incorrect) which means it's slipping, it's pickups the extra turning of the drum and debunks it as a "Incorrect Ratio."
Oh Dear!
The oil is looking bad ey! Okay it looks black but what's getting me is that it doesn't have a burnt smell and neither does it have a lot of steel inside the oil!
I'm almost certain that these clutches started slipping and in time they did a oil change but fresh oil can't compensate for damage! NOT AT ALL!
Might be a bad one!
So since the one clutch stack might be ruined and there is no visible steel in the oil it must meant that this is one lucky client! It only occured to me now that the oil change might have saved his valvebody from total failure!
This does not normally happen! It's hectic and those are pricey! SO ONE LUCKY CLIENT!
Still some dirty oil though! Imagine your blood looked like this?
No Reason!
There really isn't a reason for this picture at all I just thought it looked cool from this angle and so I got a picture!
Okay this isn't the photography community, I know but heck I can give it to some bloaks out there! Taking good photos of cars and or car parts! Well that is a skill in its own league! I mean this does look somewhat cool but that's my opinion about it, it sure as hell might not be anything that could attract anyone's attention!
First Time Seeing This!
Usually there is more than one clutch pack that takes damage, so this tells me that there might be a slight chance of it being a solenoid failure, this might be wrong but it might be right as well! I will need to speak with bossman about this on Monday!
Laughs on a different note this thing has had problems long before they booked it in, these are some real bad burn marks! In fact the metal started binding in this one! Not even a little bit of clutch material left! That's why I said it must have had a oil change!
It must have had!
All To Bits!
Oh what a lovely sight! A sight that would scare most people! Especially so if this was your car right? Would every part ever find its place again!
They sure as hell will! One piece at a time! It'll get you there faster than you can think! These are easy to construct!
