Grasshopper

in #hive-1015872 years ago

I'm back here and tonight I'm going to show you a picture of a beautiful grasshopper I met in a coffee plantation. This grasshopper is often known as a wood locust, maybe because he works in the garden, not in the fields, so he is known as a wood locust. This grasshopper motif is very beautiful, brown combined with yellow. But unfortunately I can't enjoy it for a long time, it's very wild.

This locust is also known as an agricultural pest because it can cause damage to plants. They eat plant leaves, flowers and seeds, thereby reducing crop yields. Wood locusts can live for several months and have several developmental stages, from egg, nymph, and adult.

These locusts are also known as locusts which are the fastest in adding population so that there are many serious problems for agriculture if not controlled properly. There are several methods that can be used to control the Wood Locust population, such as using pesticides, using natural predators, and mechanical control.

Locust Wood is also a source of traditional medicine for some communities. Wood locust extract can be used to treat various health problems, such as headaches, fever, and pain. However, it is important to ensure that proper processing and storage methods are used to ensure product safety and effectiveness.

Nice grasshopper @ekachiyuni. I see you've joined the Nature Observer community. Won't you sign up at https://www.inaturalist.org then share verified, selected interesting observations there?

I will try it😄

@birdwatcher to join inaturalist, create a new account specifically for inaturalist or you can use the hive.blog account, I don't understand.

inaturalist is an independent platform for nature observers with many fans and real scientist posting there. It is part of my hobby. If you make a post there it has a real scientific value. Other will determine species you observed. But you make it for free. If you post it here under your hive account, you will earn upvotes and make some hive. I admit it is work for a few minutes do a post on inaturalist. Click link in my post and you will see how the page wit one observation look. You can use language pack Indonesia.
