La visita a lugares llenos de energía y paz, siempre trae consigo momentos que quedarán fijados en la memoria, bien sea por la compañía que tengas en ese instante o bien porque decidiste ir de paseo para estar con nuestra gran amiga soledad, que nos llena de silencio y una profunda meditación para con nosotros mismos. donde las reflexiones saltan hasta escabullirse en lo mas profundo de nuestros pensamientos.
Lo cierto es que en una salida a las faldas del Monte Serpa, ubicada en una cara de la Sierra Nevada de Mérida, la naturaleza y su mágico encanto me recibió con total tranquilidad, era un día soleado, pero el día anterior había llovido, por lo que la humedad en medio del bosque era elevada, por tanto el calor era increíble.
El paso de pequeños riachuelos de agua cristalina, no mostraba en sus inicios, en todo a su alrededor ningún tipo de vida insectívora, sin embargo al ir subiendo más y adentrarse en el bosque de árboles inmensos, cruzando más riachuelos, comencé a observar lo rico de la vida natural, los mosquitos no se hicieron esperar para hacerse sentir, vaya que si!...
Pasadas dos horas de caminata, decidí descansar un poco, respirar y pensar sobre lo que podría hacer, planificar e inventar algo que fuese sustentable en términos productivos, puesto que la situación no estaba tan bien.
En ese momento veo cerca de la orilla del rio, entre la vegetación una mariposa, al intentar acercarme vuela hasta posarse en otras ramas, insistí con toda la paciencia y cautela, hasta lograr obtener varias fotos con mi teléfono celular Mi 11 lite.

The truth is that on an outing to the slopes of Mount Serpa, located on one side of the Sierra Nevada de Merida, nature and its magical charm received me with total tranquility, it was a sunny day, but the day before it had rained, so the humidity in the middle of the forest was high, therefore the heat was incredible.
The passage of small streams of crystalline water, did not show in its beginnings, in all around it any type of insectivorous life, nevertheless when going up more and entering in the forest of immense trees, crossing more streams, I began to observe the richness of the natural life, the mosquitoes were not made to wait to be felt, indeed!....
After two hours of walking, I decided to rest a little, breathe and think about what I could do, plan and invent something that would be sustainable in productive terms, since the situation was not so good.
At that moment I see near the river bank, among the vegetation a butterfly, when I try to approach it flies to perch on other branches, I insisted with all the patience and caution, until I managed to get several photos with my cell phone Mi 11 lite.

Posteriormente, volteo y me voy a la búsqueda de otra mariposa que estaba revoleteando a unos pasos de donde estaba, y al bajar me di una resbalada bastante graciosa, pero no me limito a pararme y pacientemente tomar otras fotos a otra mariposa.

Al investigar logre encontrar exactamente con su nombre y características, que precisamente indicaban que es una mariposa de la familia de Riodinidae, que se visualiza en los Andes y que tiene 9 especies conocidas en la región tropical. Su nombre corresponde a Pallas Duque, esta especie se muestra en los bosques nublados y a altitudes que llegan hasta los 2000 metros.

Its name corresponds to Pallas Duque, this species is found in cloud forests and at altitudes up to 2000 meters.
Ya preparado y descansado, reanude mi camino, donde el propósito era llegar hasta el rio Santa Rosa, el cual es bastante caudaloso. Y para sorpresa mía, como colofón y regalo de la naturaleza, me presenta una mariposa maravillosa, con sus alas desplegadas, posando para una foto.
Al averiguar pude confirmar que es una especie de mariposa que habita en América del sur y esta identificada como una Heliconius clysonymus.
