Hello SportsTalk,

Greetings to all the fans and the authors. Its been a nice sporting season for Cricket, Football and Rugby sports, as far as I observe. Being a sports fan I really find tastes and good spirit in getting the news on board and whats happening around the world. Now, there are other people who likes to draw similar interests in sports, why not? Sports have been the sole force of entertainment and energy, the spiritual uplifting and fun for those involved as players and spectators - both sides who reap their own benefits and interests.

Soccer comes on the top of the list for fan choice and I have been looking for the public opinion that goes with the world cup that just ended up well. I was the fan of Argentina and for a player who has made the world cup worth enjoying. Looking at the history of soccer world cup, just 3 finals rolled onto extra time and finished as penalty being the sole determinant of finding the winner and 2022 edition was the third of it.

Yes,there was suspense and thrill, the rush of blood and hype, uncertainty and jubilation, nerve breaking tragedies and comedies. Yet it is pretty easy to just sit back before the TV set or stadium arena and criticize players for not performing well or missing easy shots, playing rashly and committing fouls with reckless fouls exchanging several times. The game of football isnt easy and no scripts work well in favour. Even when you have the best forward line and a well balance defensive midfield,a well decorated coaching stuffs and officials to serve the team, still the output comes down to ineffective and unsuccessful attempts.

The Tale Of Germany.

I really felt terribly disheartened to have witnessed the epic defeat Argentina faced in the 14' final. I mean, Germany never deserved to win that match and so as for Argentina to lose. But, in every decisive final one team has to lose for the other team to win. Thats the universal truth, but I watched Messi to feel tremendously upset for losing in the final where victory was just minutes away. Somehow Germany won and the European supremacy took another pride in their sector to have won the cup back to their home.

Joachim Low became Hero and he was being venerated for a long time. It was a matter of huge festivity all across the nation and Hitlers arc was reverberated once again. Hitler had vision to win the world by conquering the mighty Russia conducting the operation of Barbarosa, but he couldn’t do so because his opponent Stalin was there with tricks more glorious than Hitler even calculated in the dreams and the winter season with unpredictable cold.

Anyway, but the successive two terms of world cup edition, Russia's 2018 and Qatar's 2022, they didnt even qualify the group stage and the mighty champions felt in the abyss of the sea. Joachim Low who was at the top of respect and public demand fell down to the criticism, the inability to win the easier matches left him to quit his position. That shows us even if players play their part, its not going to help the team win unless something else is there to lift the spirit.

The Rise Of Argentina.

Argentina as team was consistent all over the decades time as they played their best part, they didnt get what they wanted as their pinnacle of success, but they got into the ultimate spot and lost quite successively, which is an important ingredient for the habit of winning. The loss of Copa America finals consecutive times, the world cup defeat and death of the Football legend,Maradona all came one after another. But, they never seemed as to get away from what they believed that they should win.

I just could see in the 10' Africa world cup where Maradona was the part of the squad, even if he was banned from participating in any match for Argentina. What goes on, you are out from playing for your nation, but you could help the team to win and get the people feel the same as it was the case for 86 win; right at the time when colorful TV's were unavailable, but people didn’t forget celebrate, from east to west to north to south, all over the region.

Its not the same as coaching as to play, one can be a world class footballer, a star in his own stardom, yet when it comes to coaching - its not the same, never. Maradona couldn’t organize players and adopt the perfect strategy to win matches. I dont at one side blame him at all for losing, but rather do support him for infusing a great spirit to his disciples, oh the boys! Do make us proud, its your team and your nation, dont lag behind and never feel down-hearted and low spirited, for if you win,its the country that wins in the end.

Such views arise to me when I think about the team each time. For Germany, the journey ended at the beginning, they laughed at first and didnt really know the value of winning, as there were no tears,no pain, no tragedies to fill the heart. No emotions to write the local newspaper that their boys lost but didnt give up and fought bravely till the end. But for, Argentina it was pretty dissimilar as they broke the heart of billions of fans, those people who even sold their farmlands to buy a big flag to show the love for Messi and his team.

The Secrets Of Success.

I see the tragic defeats made scars on the heart and pain soared up high and as if there were no hiding place for them. But, they subconsciously never knew that the true meaning of winning never lies on the tally of success that you have or the streak of winning, the might or team strength ; but to overcoming the constant failures and winning in the end.

Argentina did won this years trophy, but unlike Germany it was won after successive defeats. That is unique and the taste of such winning has enormous value to be honest. I found that,if you are faced with such things and quite dissatisfied with failures, dont just fall back, fall forward. There is endless possibilities to discover in life and God is rich in providing the gift that you want and deserve.

God Bless Us All, Happy Thursday, 💐.

You are correct as it has been a busy 6 months for the sporting world and it is great to see sport back to normal after the last few years of lockdowns. As long as you learn from your losses you will always improve as you can never forget.

Thanks for the realizations. Its always good to be reviewing the stories once been felt to heart and passing through times of worlds biggest show and if dreams of a billion people are fulfilled by a solo event than it is all dreams of paradise.

Germany didn't miss a knockout round for 80 years, up until 2018 and 2022 again. Historically Germany is an absolute beheamouth, and statistically they're gonna miss out on the knockouts over time.

I don't think Germany have been terrible. I think the rest of the world has caught up now however. The Asian countries in particular are playing fantastic football, where traditionally they've been timid and submissive to the European supreme you mentioned.

Everyone would be scared to play Germany, and they'd win the psychological warfare battle as soon as a team would be drawn in their group. That invisible battle is no longer and it's an even playing field now

World order of football has surely changed and old ways of playing football dont work anymore. Very recently the tactics and training sessions methodology of football have really been sharpened with new technology and efficient coaching stuffs.

I really agree with you, Asian teams have been improving and playing toe to toe with European giants, thats really good for a game, for advancement and mass participation. Thats why soccer always pop up on the first place in terms of popularity and fan choice.

Be blessed, 👍
