Warm Greetings, Sports Tribe.🏆
In my last sports post, I talked about the insiders and hidden facts that you most probably missed out to know, since most of the actual facts arent directly aired by the news media. There are so many false or partially falsified news, yellow journalism and misguided information which makes the audience to have mixed review over the discussed issues. Argentina won the Qatar world cup and there were some of the key players who deserved more technical spotlight, but didn't we all were busy celebrating.
I think, what has made Argentina come this far was because the team had a goalkeeper who had all the abilities and special rare skills that were kept as secrets, until the most important time of the tour came, breaking through the final match barriers and snatching the amazing win against the opposition team. So many speculations fallen behind and players played, history was created and legends popped out. Emiliano Martinez was one of the priceless gem that Argentina and the world would remember for hundreds of year's time.

The Onset Dilemma.
Very naturally from the earlier time of Argentina makeup of creating the journey, back in the time of 2014 which was hosted in Brazil,it was the term when Argentina went closest to the trophy.Playing the final was a good memory I guess everyone of us would recall sharply without a hard trial. The then manager Alesandro was old and witty enough to set up strategy that worked so well until the team moved to more critical stage - the final.
Back in 2014 the whole Argentina tactics revolved around the manager's concept of strengthening the defense system - making bold moves as to not allowing the strikers scoring goals frequently and creating a wild goose chase to set the tone of winning. What I saw in the 14's Argentina that the young -old mixture, a well combined team with great potential to compete against well established competitors, the habit of winning successively - because, world cup takes you to knockout, one knock and you are out.
Messi was young of course, and Rojo, Mascherano, Otamendi had skills and fame as challenging players who all once kept the defense a iron coated layer, hard to penetrate through the line for the strikers. I was never supportive of Romero as an appropriate goalkeeper, because he had skills and good potent, but for competing and winning against the very best, wearing gloves you need to bring superhuman moves that would differentiate winning the final - or losing it.
The Number 1 Prodigy.
I can remember for many reason the 112th minute goal scored by Mario Gotze' from Germany, the substitute who just came in for Klose. Everybody was stunned and in the gallery the fans took a pretty decent time to assume what just happened in between blinks. The pass from Tony Kroos was so fast and the final touch so rapidly placed that Romero got slight chance to put a hand to it.

Just a 30 seconds apathy paid the extreme price- giving out the trophy to the team which deserved less to win. But, what I see is that for any team to win as big margin, they need to have a goalkeeper like Emiliano. I dont know why, because in Netherlands time I have seen replace goalkeepers to come out right before the time when it was 2-3 minutes to go before penalty shootout and everything changed for one decision.
Emiliano looked a perfect package to me because what he did was unparalleled to anyone. Most of us think that, the goalkeepers task is only to save goals, make moves smartly as to have clean sheet and stand as a wall between the bars. But, its a truth also as a few factors concede more. They are :
1.Emotional /Encouraging Ability : Goalkeepers have a high posture and long bodied stature very naturally and stands most of the time with a captain wristband or a leader playing the key role to stop balls going in. When chances of winning start to decrease, the morality to hold on until the end, regaining the spirit back and propagating it to the team matters. And, I think he did it fairly well after losing the inaugural match against Saudi Arabia.
2.Psychological Training : Emi had this training very well and he mastered the skill as a champion. To be able to cast a very fearful and irritating impression over the mind of opposition strikers, he confused them before even running for taking the penalty shot. One thing is having skills to stop shots, other is to challenge players mood, letting them hesitate, pushing much as to fly the ball above the cross bar or jumping in the right way as the ball's trajectory.
Emiliano used his skill twice, right at the time when it mattered and could have let the whole world to cry or letting the billions of the fan's to burst out to jubilation. He came out winning and for Messi.
Now, we al know about him and his transfer fees to soar up high, but the whole football world should know the story.

The story of a mere goalkeeper to be a hero, a hero for Argentina and for Messi, letting his dream come to, once in for a magnificent century. Indirectly, for him the world of Football was honoured.
